Fabulous hotel suite. Stunning! Even with squeaky shoes -- still terrific! The piano was too heavy and not music for an art deco interior but those are very small things to consider when filming. Thanks! ✨

I mean, how could you ever leave?! It is opulent and grand yet homely and cozy. A very well executed scheme. The ambiance feels very modern while enveloped in the Deco aesthetic, a style which can easily feel tacky / outdated. I hope the food tasted as spectacular as it looked - relatively generous proportions! I’d stay.

Cher Docteur, Merci pour ce beau reportage qui nous change un peu des Maldives... Votre maestria des prises de vue est toujours extraordinaire. J'admire le travail de décoration raffinée dans les moindres détails de l'architecte allemand. Toutefois cet hotel tout en noir me semble un endroit parfaitement lugubre. Certes, la période historique 1920/1930 n'était pas joyeuse en Allemagne et a fort influencé la vision de l'architecte. L'Art Déco, né en France, était joyeuse avec une palette lumineuse de couleurs bleue et grise. Quoi qu'il en soit, cet hotel attirera certainement des touristes affluents de provenance internationale qui en apprécieront l'atmosphère originale. Le magnifiqie brunch est en accord avec le standard des grands palaces cinq étoiles (à apprécier si le noir ne vous a pas coupé l'appétit 😃).Dans le même niveau de dépense, je choisirais malgré tout l'hotel George V ...

Fabulous!! We stayed just down the hall last summer, and greatly enjoyed our stay. The stunning terrace of our room and the hotel breakfast room are two of the more memorable aspects for me personally.

Don't take that seriously: 16:07 Painting not hung on the wall. 20€ per day invoice deduction. 17:00 Other hotel wing is blocking the view of the Eiffel Tower. 50€ per day invoice deduction :) And I'm almost certain that the shower is designed in a way that the whole bathroom will be a sea after just five minutes of showering.

Watching this video and amazed. Why is one salivating over some cramped suite in Europe. Yes Art Deco et al. Its still just a little dinky hotel room with an awful view. In Africa the views are spectacular. The suites are enourmous. The world is different now. Europe offers...

It is going to be a YES, BUT... review from me this time.... Yes, the suite's luxury, elegance, intricate fine details and beauty are exquisite... but it doesn't ignite the Wow impression in me. I love luxury and beauty, but this one... something's missing... I cannot really pinpoint what it is exactly. However, overall, this is one incredible and opulent hotel; the beautiful golden crystal floor details in the suite, glamorous marbles, lavish interior design inside the Akira Back restaurant and glorious delectable breakfast spread (yes, I used thw word "glorious" as it was so abundant) - especially the cheese platter, bread, and fruits, as well as the lunch and dinner dishes which look amazing and displaying an exclusive-hotel standard. Gorgeous, simply gorgeous - even though not phenomenal.

Very beautiful video, as usual. My only negative is that I found the living areas claustrophobic! Obviously black and gold are ‘not my thing’! Will never get over how you can go up stairs and there is no wobble on the camera! BTW…still miss the red suitcase. Thanks for your wonderful trips and videos

Comfortable travelling shoes SLIGHTLY squeaking on polished floors... as one might expect for such surfaces. Hardly the heavy tread of solid boots - no gros sabots here 😀Comfort does not mean without style. Seriously - I like it. Just another little human touch that makes you feel... there.

Don't know what "Paris' most exclusive hotel suite" means. I went online to the hotel website and was able to book the suite for Aug 9=10 for just under 15,000 euros. If they let me in, I guess it's not that exclusive. I don't have to be a famous actor or world leader. I just have to have money (I didn't actually book it, but it was available for me to book).
