Another great video! In the Pass Labs XS series (preamp and XS-150) I like to see the Pass XS Phono. So if you have the opportunity I am looking forward to it.

The parts labeled PASS Labs are Inductors 10 micro-Henry they're not Capacitors.

I"m sure this is a fine unit, but its weird to me that they daisy-chained the grounds to the RCAs and did not elect to take the grounds from each connector along with the signal wires to the main board via twisted pairs. Look up "ground loop" specifically that part that covers "ground hum caused by multiple paths to ground".

Interesting observation! Also what’s up with those push on connections on the power supply cable jack. Doesn’t seem appropriate for gear in this price range. Thought that soldering would be best practices

Interesting. The silver things marked "Pass" in the PSU are actually inductors. Also, I think it is clear that Pass Labs hasn't done vibration testing when releasing these, or parts and cables would have gone flying :-)

They're not inductors - they're clarity caps.

HI FI buffs make a fuss a about cables, in these units the cable is not special just ordinary cable.

Dambuster agreed. Master union electrician here. Looks like standard thhn 16 awg. No need for any other kind of internal wiring.

It is unclear as to your knowledge of details within these boxes. Disappointing you did not share a more detailed description of what you were filming. Tragic as there is a desire to learn more about what goes on in the boxes.
