Reminds of the old days. As youngster (young terriers now Junior terriers of Huddersfield) we used to show our commitment to the club by helping out with these jobs on the training grounds an I remember those intense goalkeeping sessions. I’m going to show my age now as we didn’t use gloves until the mid 80’s. Great insight & you’ve got me hooked.

mate gonna be honest. LOVE IT. we have all seen the likes of man city, arsenal etc what they do behind the scenes, but to see a club of this size and what goes on both on and off the pitch in pre season and during the league year, home and hopefully away and also behind the scenes will be a real eye opener to some. wish we had of been playing you pre season, would been good to get down and see the place in person. might still do it before the season starts. very interested to see whats to come in the weeks and months ahead

Morning to night 7 days a week the phone will ring for the manager or the ground staff and/or committee about something. Biggest danger to a small club, the personal fall out among the committee. That could set a club back years. A thing that wasn't around years back was social media outside of maybe the local paper. Now you can reach out to the world. Curious to know, do Portstewart have a Women's team? Just like Peaky I've switched leagues from tier 7 to 5. Still non league but higher up. It's a bucket list thing, kinda of.
