Spare a thought for the spare. Prince Harry has endured a hell of a week explaining his hell of a life to a judge in a London court. He claims that for years the English tabloids harassed and hounded him into misery by hiring private eyes to constantly follow him, as well as hacking his phone to get the scoop on his secrets. Harry says he’s now had enough and it must stop.
But as Sarah Abo reports, for a man who has recently released a money-making autobiography and given multiple television interviews spilling the dirt on his famous family’s squabbles, Harry’s demand to hold the newspapers to account could just as easily be seen as a case of breathtaking hypocrisy.

The problem is that everyone keeps giving them the attention that they're looking for, whether it be good or bad. If the press and the public just could or would completely ignore them they would both fade away into obscurity and realize that no one in the world cares one bit about them. But because society has become drama addicts, Harry and his drama queen will continue with their antics.

I would have supported Harry 100% had he not treated his dying grandparents so terribly. All these interviews and his book condeming his family and his grandmother's lifetime work. I wonder also if he asked permission from people in his book who he has talked about e.g. ex girlfriend's and the nasty things he said about a lady at his school. The palace staff who were working for H &M they were left traumatised too. H&M have an agenda, they are not to be trusted. Their poor children missing out on being with their families, such a shame.

Initiating a court case because of feelings or hunches rather than factual evidence is not only embarrassing for the plaintiff, but also puts anyone at risk of lawsuit because others felt hurt, attacked, etc, and now want to feel vindicated. The judge will be wise to stay on the side of truth and evidence to be presented in a court of law...

Harry is not very smart. Even his mother said he was a bit slow. He was passed along in school and in the military. For all the shenanigans we heard of, there were many more that were buried. A rumor persists that he assaulted a sex worker in Afghanistan and was never charged, and the whole thing was covered up. He seems to be saying the press MADE him do those nasty things. "Look what you made me do" is what abusers say to their victims.

As they entered primary school, Diana was with Harry and William less and less She was sometimes on a vacation with a boyfriend - or they were with their father due to custody - but more notably in other countries for her amazing humanitarian causes. She had an entire life that did not include him. I think that part of Harry's subconscious does not want to face those facts.

It seems she cheated first, split up at least two families, and had several lovers besides Dodie. At least his dad only got involved with one woman and didn’t break up any families in doing so.

The royals didn’t waste their times, “recollection may vary” affirms that they do not buy in Harry’s narrative but what’s the point of getting in a he said she said situation with him instead of leaving the couple enough rope to gang themselves, which they did with the ludicrous “near catastrophic car chase” story no one believed. It’s not like Harry makes fact based claims, he’s always like “I feel” or “the sold stories about me” without ever pointing at which stories and why he knows they were planted by the palace. You cannot refute baseless accusations and the burden of proof is on the person making them, Harry.

Maybe he felt abandoned and not answering the phone was a way to make her worried and get her back home fast, maybe it was just a kid wanting to play video games. At that age, losing a parent isn’t supposed to cross your mind. He feels guilt, but he is not in this case.

I have no doubt there was stalking by the press. But I would have thought Harry would have started gathering evidence while it was happening. Wouldn't you think he would have kept notes of dates, events, and even keep the "tracking devise" that he found on Chelsey's car that he testified about? Or better still, wouldn't he have done what all of us would have done? That being stop telling personal information over a suspected hacked cell phone? or change phone numbers, and use burner phones? Or behave so that the press doesn't get the bad boy picture? Notice that Harry doesn't deny any of the information in court. He admits he used drugs, drank to excess, punched the media guy, undressed at public parties, and wore a Nazi uniform. Harry didn't decide he was being hacked until someone suggested it to him, and his paranoid personality took over.

How did he find it in the first place, and how did he know it was a tracking devise? He said he wasn't sure about who his father was until 2014. Really?! He read all the tabloids, but never read his mum talking about not meeting Hewitt before Harry was born?! And why did he never approach his dad for a DNA test, if it bothered him so much? He said new voice messages seemed to be not new when he listened to them, but he wasn't sure about what was going on, he thought he was just too drunk at the time. Oh dear, oh dear! This subject bores me so I don't often dip in to hear things but I wonder if Harry was pushed into this court case by Megan? Maybe the troubles in his marriage was, in part, due to his reticence taking the press to court, considering how very ill prepared he was. She is not stupid, she knows all the negative press receive over just about everything and, unlike her fellow countryman, P T Barnum who stated bad press was better than no press, I am guessing she disagrees. Of course, it is always the children who suffer especially being denied access to their paternal relatives. That is so wrong on her part. She should have sucked it in, smiled sweetly, flown in to support her husband for this daft case and let her children see their extended family, especially since she does not get on well with her family. She does not have their interests first and foremost, just her own.

The paparazzi might've had some accountability in Princess Diana's death due to them chasing her car that night, but Diana wasn't wearing her seatbelt and neither was her partner at the time so this played a huge role in her death in my opinion!!

Paparazzi didn’t force her driver to drink or speed, competent security knows not to get in high speed chases, it only endangers your client.

The video of the driver Henri Paul showed him walking around inside and outside the Ritz Hotel talking to people and stopping to kneel down to tie up his shoe lace without any difficulty at all. The body guard who worked for Al-Fayed and was assigned to Dodi & Diana survived the car crash and has said he wouldn't have gotten into the vehicle and wouldn't have let Diana get in the vehicle if he knew the driver was intoxicated. ( who the heck would !? ) It was not obvious to anyone who was there on the night

But also them speeding… it was obvious gross negligence, the paparazzi cannot make you get into a high speed chase, someone was pressing on the accelerator.

Why don't we just switch right off from Harry & his wife ... as in total radio/media silence ... and see how much they like that? Ignore everything they put out, and force them to have the privacy they said they wanted.
