Sarehole Mill is one of 2 surviving Birmingham watermills. There has been a mill on this site since 1542. It was restored in the 1960s and opened to the public as a museum in 1969. Sarehole Mill is run as part of Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery.

Thank you very much Chris, that's my goal. I want to do documentary videos so I am learning the trade and finding my style while doing these videos. I really want to make a video on J R R Tolkien's life in Bham because there are so many 'connections' to this great man here. We'll see... Have a good week 🙂

Sarehole Mill and Moseley Bog in Birmingham was where J R R Tolkien used to go when he was young and got the inspiration for his book Lord of the Rings from.

Hello Street Rambler, I had a look at the festivals here on KZfaq. If it is the same one, it looks fun. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy the tour so much but I did. And I met some lovely people on the tour.

my step dads family used to go to sarehole mill for tools and other bits back in 1890s till 1907 it had a fire and was out of use for a while ,
