Here in the Borough of Stanhope around eh, 50 miles away from Teaneck, the Squad’s building was originally behind the funeral home until 1970 when a new building was built for the ambulances. This year they’re celebrating their 50th anniversary. They’ve been volunteer since day one and when they get a call, you’ll always see a car come down Main Street doin 40, turn up the long driveway, then down comes an ambulance. Edit: if any of the SNALAC guys are reading this, you know I’ve always talked highly of you guys, I’ll be watching when you leave for as long as I can.

Huge respect for their service and innovations! 🙂 20:18 + following seconds when you talk about mileage of the trucks. Isn't 100,000 - 200,000 miles a normal mileage number that any other ambulance type also reaches? From what I know medium duty ambulances can easily reach 400,000 +++ miles. Of course the overall age of those trucks needs to be considered too.

+1 to that idea! 😄 Sounds interesting to have a virtual Teaneck ambulance Discord hangout where people can talk about EMS or specifically about Teaneck Ambulance Corps. They could also use it for virtual training, meetings and these things. Guess that could be another way to get in touch with people as well as new volunteers. I also think that this could even contribute to a few more donations (theoretically from people all over the world).
