Known for turning a sofa in the Boca Chica SpaceX office into his bed, Elon Musk, The World's Richest Man, took it to another level when he announced Tesla's $10,000 sustainable unboxable moveable home. If you are remotely familiar with the Tesla CEO, you wouldn't be surprised that he is building a sustainable home. So, how did Elon go from overhauling the tech space to completely disrupting the real estate industry?Well, it all started with this tweet from 2020. At the height of the pandemic, Elon Musk made this insane announcement.

$ 10.000 is an unrealistic price. Just the solar panels, power walls, inverter, car charger and other electrical fixings would probably amount to that sum. I believe $25.000 would be closer to reality.

Taxes depend on your state. In mine it’s 0. Shipping would be trucking plus foundation and utilities and setup. Check with your planning board.

Banks in many states will let you wrap all extraneous expenses in the loan; ie land, foundation, permits, utility hookups, septic tank system etc. and still extremely low payments.

Utility hookup typically depends on how far the property is from available utilities/are utilities available or is that site going to need well & septic, etc, what kind of excavation is going to be necessary, is drainage good or is the property in flood plain…. Lots of variables can jump up & bite, but hopefully they won’t.
