There was something special about ripping junk wax. I loved pulling old school hoops and skybox as a kid. It was pure joy and didn’t care what it was worth back then.

I started collecting December of 2023 when my wife bought me a MLB mystery pack from Amazon for Christmas. My cousin collected sports cards when I was growing up and hesitant on collecting for few years.

I would love to work back there. Just think of all the cards you are going to touch !! I mean, I could touch a Kaline or even a Cobb. I love the non sports cards too. I have Star Trek cards. You have to buy that Kelsey Plum card ! Man there are just so many cards !! Ohhhh wow, Miggy is in 2000 Topps !! I love wax !! I started in Jan 2020. Not at all because of Covid though. I started to battle depression and just got addicted. I collected in the mid 80's also but stopped in 1988 when I joined the Army. My daddy however, was a collecter back in the 60's. I admired his collection so much. He had a real T 206 Ty Cobb !! Loved the tour of the warehouse. Thanks for sharing !!

I can’t wait to come see this store. I would be in heaven on earth. If I had a choice of a box it would be 87 donruss baseball. It was the set that started me in the hobby. It would be a dream to work there

I started collecting when i was 8 in 2018 and stopped in 2020. I got sbck into it last summer and am die hard from now on. I have my first show next saturday. I have a table. I want to buy cards but have about 300 dollars should i advertise im buying or kinda just have people come up and ask if im buying

I had an older man gifts me 2 📦 of base ball and basketball I found a 1986 RC of Jordan it graded SGC 6.5 amd since then my collection just keeps growing my wife is 100% into it we are so happy that random man we just to happen to meet that day gave us this hobby we have grown to cherish summer of 2022

Rob always touts his 13(?) step inventory process where “no steps can be eliminated!” and it’s just not true. Yes, this is a great way to organize cards before technology. But places like COMC likely deal in similar volume, and have eliminated a ton of those steps using technology. Card comes in, log it into the database, slap QR penny sleeve on it, scan the box & row, and toss it in. No need for this hyper storage organization. Also, it appears that there is no way to differentiate between what specific card you are getting with Rob’s system. If he has 20 of the same Ray Lewis card…how am I’m guaranteed the same card that was pictured when I ordered it. So condition of the card could vary wildly. It’s absolutely not the only way. It’s likely not the method that’s most efficient. He has admittedly hired folks with no knowledge of the hobby, and sent them drumming through boxes of unprotected cards, and picking random instances from a stack of 30 of the same card. Someone help me out here.

Hey Mojo, can you ask that store about the “2011 JUCO World Series Draftee Bryce Harper 1 Of 1” set? There appears to be 12 of them according to Beckett but nobody seems to know how they were obtained. Most seemed to be graded by Beckett in 2013 the same day, maybe a proof set? I need some help!!

1987 fleer basketball mom bought me that an a pack of 86 topps baseball i was 5 an still remember pulling that jordan 2nd year card! (Didnt know what i had at the time) but man that was it! Been in the hobby 30 years on an off but back in heavy 2017 when i lost mom to brain cancer at young age of 64 the day after xmas 2017 an i jumped back in outta nowhere to help me cope!
