wow if you think nz is against their indigenous people you obviously havent been to other countries that actually do oppress their indigenous people - where else do you see indigenous names as common as the colonists names everywhere - in australia they are still moaning about giving a voice to their oppressed indigenous people - the racism there is real and very oppressive no comparison to how far nz has come

@@bodybalanceU2 NZers petitioned against calling it Aotearoa New Zealand & won. Maori & Pacific Islanders are heavily overrepresented in crime statistics due to poverty and the common message is that we should continue to imprison them. There was huge backlash when Labour wanted to introduce bilingual signs. The Maori Party is constantly berated as self-serving, money bludgeoning ethnocentrists. Just because we don't go around calling each other N words, doesn't mean NZ isn't racist asf. NZ is very racist I assure you.

@@scottyRAZERrobz not as racist as australians and we do call the country Aotearoa New Zealand and Maori have a voice in Parliament something aussies are still denying their indigenous people - there are racists everywhere it depends on whether you give them power and a voice

@@bodybalanceU2 I'm not trying to have a competition with you about what country is more racist than the next mate. Maori have no - minimal power / voice. Certainly not what you would consider a comparable societal equality. If they did, there wouldn't be backlash every time they try to contest for historical issues such as land ownership and treaty rights. But there are, and these issues are frequently reported as 'hand-outs, give-me's' etc. Why? Because NZ is run by white people for white people. If you refuse to admit that then you are part of the problem.
