During his heyday, Bill Cosby was known as one of the most respected entertainers in the industry. Everyone wanted a dad like Heathcliff Huxtable, but his portrayal of the Cosby Show character was nothing like who he was in real life. Despite his flaws, he’s had a strong support system through it all: his children, a handful of celebrity friends, and his wife Camille. Here’s a look inside their unconventional marriage.

Not doing for her but his own balance and sanity. That income class of people, live by different rules. Sourced studies prove well off women will tolerate such as long as their husband activities do not mess with their financial stability. Later when he had it. @@atboptimistic-6853 for better or worse but when it becomes unethical and illegal the vows would be the least of worries. have a vow to yourself to only accept what you should. their marriage clearly has had cracks in it from the beginning if you watched the entire thing. Their marriage was mature and they understood and respected each other. The goal was to be very successful and they achieved it while marriage intact. I know it rare but happens to those who hold on. Those who love and understand who they are marriage to. Bill was not perfect . Who is? This was a good video but somewhat Unbalance in order to persuade the readers that bill was unfaithful and a womanizers. In fairness these women knew Bill was a marry man. They are called what, knowing having sex with a marry man. Equal right also men equal responsibility. Why do this to a marry woman, have sex with her husband? I understand why Cosby kicked her off of A Different World. With such limited representation of black families, black colleges, black college students on TV (even to this day), the last thing Cosby wanted to do is continue the stereotype of a young single black mother. The long term spending time, making the family feel needed, wanted, loved, cared for, etc is not what they want to truly do. It looks good on paper kind of thing, ya know. I see it everyday these men would rather be "somewhere else". I ain't judging nor do I care. I witness it, that's all

She was definitely otherwise fulfilled. For lots of mothers, being a mom is enough... Being able to give your whole self to your children. We often realize that there's no man... No matter how good-looking, rich, famous, or otherwise.. that can really fulfill us. We always have to settle in one way or another. I can imagine that settling is alot easier when money is no object in life. So even if she did have a side-piece/pieces, she'd have to endure their shortcomings as well. Might as well deal with the dysfunction you're familiar with.

My mother's generation (50s-60s) and being from Colombia was that for some wives they turned a blind eye to the infidelity of their husbands, as long as the husband took care of his home responsibilities (paid the bills), and be discrete with their affairs, which included no diseases. I was 15 when my dad told me he had acquired syphilis, thank God it was taken care of. But to this day, I have no idea why he burdened me with that information. Parents, sometimes, can put their kids through so much hell! Then they wonder why the kids end up dead, on drugs, or incarcerated! But from my experience of living with such dysfunctionality and watching and hearing other wives in same situation, I came to realize that wives who put up with that are women that don't really love their husbands, thus, they do not care what he does with other women; it is as simple as that. They only married these man for other reasons not for love. My mom had no problem telling us that the only reason she married my dad was because she wanted a beautiful-looking child. My dad was a looker, that's for sure! So much so, that as an extra on a bus scene in a movie where all he had to do is get off the bus, a movie producer who watched the movie sought him out just because of his looks!

As human beings, we have flaws. I will forever be grateful for Mr. Cosby's consciousness to create sitcoms that put "black families" in a positive light. Most sitcoms showed us as being uneducated, ignorant, loud, and poor. Mr. Cosby gave 20million to black colleges and universities! While it is unfortunate and heartbreaking to hear of this other side of Cosby, I will never forget all the good that he has done for us!

Maybe Camille took out her (displaced) anger on others? I worked in a children's clothing store in MA in the early 1970s & Camille would frequently stop in to purchase clothes for her children. She was rude, demanding & offensive. She thrived on humiliating the "clerks", reducing some of us to tears. Yes, she bought items but at what price?

I figured this out a long time ago. Majority of men want the IMAGE of a "family" for reasons but the investing part is really not what they want. The long term spending time, making the family feel needed, wanted, loved, cared for, etc is not what they want to truly do. The 7 year itch thing is real. It looks good on paper kind of thing, ya know. I see it everyday these men would rather be "somewhere else". I ain't judging nor do I care. I witness it, that's all

If I remember correctly, the murder of Ennis happened the same day or week when Desiree claimed she was Cosby's daughter. Years ago, her actual father had said he was hurt that she would claim Cosby as her father, when all her life, he was told he was her father & it was never an issue. He also said as soon as he saw her when she was born, he knew she was his because she looked like his mom. Then he showed a pic of his mother when she was younger & it was a splitting image of his daughter, Desiree. The video discusses how Camille dealt with his infidelities, & she's from the generation that upholds, "till death do us part." She & Bill lost a son & daughter, who Bill fathered, so unless he said he was leaving or kicked her out, forcibly, she's not going to leave her husband who help give her her children.

Sadly both of them are very unwise. You would think you’re supposed to grow in wisdom as well as stature (age) but a lot of people don’t. You would think that the loss of two of his children would cause him to rethink his adulterous and scandalous ways but the old man loved his sins. And his wife is no better, really, saying he can look but not touch. Looking is adultery (Matt. 5:28), but when you speak of these things, many don’t seem to care. Rethink your ways bill and Camille and give your lives to Jesus Christ.

The Bible says wisdom is from God. It's something you have to pray and asks for. This idea of becoming wise with age is worldly and untrue. The Bible also says that you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and in all your getting, to get understanding. Clearly he was more interested in getting money and the pleasures of this life.
