Rajasthan’s water problem is not new.
In 2024, water availability is less than 35% of the previous year
In many arid parts of Rajasthan tap water is available for just one hour every four days.
It has also been found that out of 302 areas, identified as sources of groundwater, 219 have been overexploited
The Indira Gandhi Canal has reversed desertification and improved the climate for plant growth in Rajasthan though Jaisalmer has shown to have the best results.
UNICEF in 2020 had in fact reported that drinking water pipelines from the Indira Gandhi Canal were being built but had reached few villages at the time.
The groundwater level in Rajasthan has been falling by 1 metre a year, as shown by studies
Why is it that despite projects like the Indira Gandhi Canal, many regions in Rajasthan still face water shortages due to limited reach, inefficient distribution, and reduced safe drinking water availability?

Guess my District in 6 hints. 1. Its known as city of gates. 2. It has a Kailash temple which is carved from top to bottom on a single huge stone. 3. We have the longest earthen dam in India. 4. its a drought prone region. 5. It has a subdivision which was the capital of India under Satvahana rule. 6. We have a fort which was quiet impossible to capture it. 👍

मैं नागौर राजस्थान से हूं और हम इस समस्या का सामना पीढ़ियों से कर रहे हैं , बहुत सारे वीडियो बनते है लोग व्यूज कमाते है और चले जाते है पर इस समस्या का निवारण आज तक नही हुआ खेर हमारी तो आदत पड़ गई है कम से कम आप तो व्यूज छापो और रही बात ओरतों को सम्मान देने की उन्हे पुरुषो के बराबर खड़ा करने की तो आप काफी गांवो में गुमी हो मैडम वहां की ओरतों को यह भी पूछ लेना था की आपके पति या बड़ा बेटा क्या करता है वो आपको बताती की वो तो पिछले इतने सालो से बाहर कमा रहा है.......... ये राजस्थान है बहन और ये सदियों से ऐसा ही है किसी ने ध्यान नी दिया इसपे हां अगर किसी ने ध्यान दिया है तो वो थे यहां के वो वीर योद्धा जिन्होंने सेंकड़ों सालो तक भारत की पश्चिमी आक्रांताओं से रक्षा की थी जय हिन्द जय मरूपरदेश 🙏

So yeah mam hmm abhi with family gya Rajasthan ghumne so mene mostly dekha hai Rajasthan ke Chittorgarh railway station per Pani ubalta hua hai itna garm, rat ka time tha 2 bje somthing and drinking water too much hot aor wa per log wohi pani pi re the. I think ye baat meri family ko life time tk yaad rega , anyway Rajasthan culture and food very different for others and I love it I'm not hate for any city. Yeah rajasthan is very Beautiful, and very kind person and family.

Literally crying after watching your last documentary about Rajasthan. We are living in almost same situation on the other side of the border, Thar Pakistan. No doubt, people of our area are resilient, hospitable, friendly & optimistic. They love their land despite the unfriendly desert. Its heartening to see that Govt has taken serious steps by building Indra Gandhi canal, but that's not enough. What's more important is that the western feminists who never cease crying about their rights never bother to see women struggling for survival, depsite all this women are independent & stable. I have never seen in my life any strong woman in life more stronger than my grandma, who is now in her late 90s. I even can't imagine how she weathered all these situations, but she never bowed before circumstances. Hope the youngsters of this area can do something for their area. Leaving their maternal villages & migrating to cities is & has never been a viable option but alleviating the situation of our villagers is something they should strive for. Thar is just love❤❤

2011 की जनगणना के अनुसार भारत में 93.2% लोग गांव में निवास करते हैं.... इनमे से लगभग 90% लोगों के पास बुनियादी सुविधाएं नही पहुंच पा रही...आजादी के इतने साल बाद भी उनके लिए मुद्दे आज भी वही है...पानी,स्वास्थ्य,शिक्षा और रोजगार....अगर सरकार या शहरों की नजर से देखोगे तो ऊपर ऊपर से सब सही नजर आएगा....पर जीवन जीने के लिए बुनियादी सुविधाएं भी उपलब्ध न हो... जहां आज भी भूख एक विषय बना हुआ है तो सोचना तो होगा की क्या सच में विकास हो रहा है...🥲

I'm from Sri Ganganagar, but my village is in suratgarh where there's water scarcity too. My whole life I lived in the city and never experienced that extreme level of water scarcity but when at the age of 23, I went to my village and lived there for 1 year, I realized the importance of water, there were certain days when there was no water in the house. Now, from past couple of years, I'm living in Canada and I see lot of lakes and ponds. Being a Rajasthani, I know the true value of water and living in the country with abundance of water, I still try to minimize my water consumption.

Come Odisha's Titlagarh which is the hottest city of Odisha where the temperature goes 50°. The Kumuda Hill ( treeless hill) makes the city warm and there's a secret thing inside the cave of kumuda hill where Lord Shiva's temple which temperature is cool almost 25/30° but the whole city temperature crosses 47° to above, sometimes its recorded 50°
