To celebrate 50 years of Dungeons and Dragons, the Lego Company released the MOST AMAZING set I've ever seen in my life...and a few weeks ago that very kit arrived at my door.
This set includes everything you would want from a Lego D&D collab, dungeons, heroes, weapons, monsters and yes even Dragons!
But the kit has SO much more to it than what initially meets the eye... It comes with an entire D&D adventure written specifically for the piece which uncovers and reveals so many secrets and plot twists it was hard to fit it all in one video....
Either way this is my FIRST EVER LEGO VIDEO so please enjoy it and tell me what you think and if you'd like to me more lego or D&D content in the future!!

I was a Senior Designer on this LEGO set (along with two Designers and a Design Lead - normally it's only one designer but we made an adventuring party for this set). I was surprised to find out a review copy had been sent to you Louise as it didn't seem like your content to date lent itself to such a thing, but I figured (as a Rogue and a Juggz fan) it was nice one of the miniature KZfaqr content creators I follow got a copy of it. I'm amazed by this video, thank you for doing such a great job of concisely laying out the plot, you even called out the small extra secrets I hid away inside the build and as always were thoroughly entertaining throughout. Brilliant. I'm glad you liked it. I guess now I should paint up a Rascal Town goblin!

A million years ago, miniatures were scarce, and I thought I would use Lego figures for my AD&D campaigns. Eventually, Warhammer 40K came out, and I was hooked. Now, there are official Lego D&D sets... Circle of life, amirite...? Lego has been brilliant at forging alliances with various Nerd (in a good sense) pursuits. They've managed to walk that minefield of dedicated fanbases without really pissing anybody off. I think a big part of it is that they established early on that these kits were going to be fun, silly versions of the 'real thing', so it's hard to get upset about discrepancies. Well done, Lego! Well done, Louise! This content was different, but I'm here for it. Your enthusiasm is infectious... :)

I have been building Lego sets for just about fifty-four years now, so although this Rogue video was unexpected it is SO welcome. Kudos to Lego for sending it to someone who would make such a great little production and share it, thank you so much!

I think my favorite thing about the minifigures is that they have on gloves. The only skin showing is the head and hair. So you could have a lizard wizard (haha), or use a different skin tone for the dwarf. Heck, you can go full classic Lego by using all yellow heads.

Been looking to introduce my son to D&D - this adventure sounds perfect for that - not sure I can stretch to buying the Lego kit but will defo download the adventure. Kit is absolutely beautiful though - if I happen to find £300 down the back of the sofa I will buy it immediately… 😂

I followed the design competition they ran for this set, and this was the one I voted for, so I was very much there on release day for it! I adjusted the adventure a little and ran it for one of my D&D groups who loved it, it took us about 6 hours. Great set, and if you want more D&D minifigures, a lot of the collectible minifigs they release are great, but they’re releasing a whole set of collectable D&D Minifigures later this year!

During your overview of the set I was weirded out by the music. I was "Hey, I know this. I listen to this when I write, it's great dungeon synth. Louise also likes dungeon synth?" before I came to my senses and remembered it's your own damn music. Anyway, the LEGO set looks awesome. Super cool to see you get some promo stuff sent to you.

It was through D&D’s Dragon magazine is how I discovered Warhammer and Warhammer 40k there was an ad where you could get a free white dwarf mag . The minis within just blew me away . Still have that old beat up magazine still today

For UK peeps, Sainsburys has a big ass basic lego set on sale atm. Handy if you are into using it for terrain etc :) Ona side note: really shouldn't have given my lego away to younger cousins lol :/

Thank you for a great video!! That pillar with the Gem, I remember seeing a video on them doing a huge Vecna Adventure that would cross the Planes and I believe involves hidden items in Pillars... Maybe someone has ready the adventure and can confirm?.
