@@shyhmin bed manager is an essential role and it’s a clinical role too it’s not like a manager your thinking of, it’s management of the hospitals patients, coordinating admissions from A&E etc to wards and knowing where all the beds are in the hospital.

I know somebody who works at a hospital dealing with COVID patients They said that the pay is terrible, their annual leave was taken off and replaced by 3 night shifts, back-to-back; and the morale is often low... Their mental health is decreasing as we speak because of the additional work stress

Its very sad, I saw a similar thing when the BBC went to my local hospital, one of the patients was recovering, wanted to make the public aware that it was real, sadly they did a program update months later, where said person had sadly passed away :(

No they aren’t usually like this. The ICU in my hospital have taken over theatres and recovery. That NEVER happens normally. Ever!

My brother died last night because of Covid he was 30 years old with no health issue,he was at Whittington hospital over 14 days,he passed away last night all my family in shock specially my mother.stay safe everyone.

Spent all last fortnight on a Mcmillan end of life ward being used completely for a Covid. One of the most upsetting and depressing places I have visited right until I no longer had anybody to visit. People cannot fathom how awful this is, especially for the elderly. Even the people I didn't know on the ward broke my heart. It's just people suffering while they wait for death.

Oh no that's really sad for Tony had died and he can't made it!. I am pray for them who keep their fight for their life! I am keep thinking about them in my heart as its doesn't matter who if I know them or not! A big thanks to them NHS staffs support to keep trying their best to saves their life.

It's flu season ya numpties! Hospitals are always rammed this time of the year. Only difference is that nobody is dying of regular flu anymore it's all covid deaths. Even dying of old age and cancer has been eradicated.

Not easily. The vast majority of the medical workers have strong enough immune systems to deal with it without hospitalisation. Furthermore, many of the people in those beds probably don't really need to be there. A lot of them are probably just panicking when they get flu like symptoms because of all the fear mongering.
