Egyptian Uber, Taxi drivers are not to be trusted not everyone is bad but, that is the majority no manners and when you are a foreigner they are so desperate to reel you in.first they want to get out of the country. or get money from you. Harrassment is becoming an issue in Cairo..be safe P.S. I reside in Cairo that is why I know. Enjoyed your blogs 🙏🙏🌹👍

I was in Cairo in 1985 right before I got out of the military. I visited the pyramids and I think my hotel was near the Nile river. You could not leave the hotel patio door open because of the mosquitos. I remember buying fragrance and souvenirs ad I also remember seeing a belly dancer. Some things haven't changed.

For someone to express the same passion of this moment in Egypt, more especially the presence of being inside the Pyramids, I shed some tears. We all know the real ancient Egyptians were African. Read the destruction of black civilization. My favorite part of traveling is seeing history that I have read about come to life.

North Africans, if you mean black then you are totally wrong while denying the whole DNA tests and results done on Egyptians, the difference between modern and ancient Egyptians is that we have more sub-saharan DNA. This "WE WUZ KANGZ" claim is outdated and is wrong enough.

First of all I'm a fully Egyptians, Egyptians were never white nor black but they are North-Africans and their skins vary depending on sun exposal. If you are gonna claim that every Egyptians says that then here I am I asked my parents/grandparents and they said that Egyptians are usually tanned due to their life being in the sun but they are not black because that is a different race. Current DNA tests by (NGGP) shows that modern Egyptians have more sub saharan DNA than ancients which had European and Egyptians are 70% north African and only 17% arabs.

@@DyadofBast First Off "cookie" Nubian Africans had kingdoms all over the continent of Africa so "WE WUZ KANGS" is certainly more correct than your claims. Also history is usually distorted but the truth comes out from study of the artifacts and the times they are from. Many show people of Nubian decent. Of course it's stupid to have a conversation about this with you anyway because we would just end up passing casual racial troups back and forth and I am sure you would not want someone saying silly, childish, and untrue racially stereotypes about Egyptians.
