@@sanderrecommends Cyprus seems to be in a potentially dangerous place geographically, especially at the current moment. Personally, I would much rather pick a location in the northern part of the Mediterranean Sea. But I'd love to hear the arguments for the Cyprus. Thank you for your reply Sander.

I'm in Cyprus these days. It's pretty calm. Usually, Cyprus is safe heaven for the Middle East. Of course, there is some tension with the Turkish part and things can still change. But for now it is a very quiet and comfy place to live.
