The Museum of the Future was inaugurated on 22 February 2022.
“The museum uses virtual reality, augmented reality, and other modern technologies to help you take a peek at the future. The shape of the building is of an asymmetric torus, you can relate the shape to an eye or ellipse. The void space in the middle of the structure, symbolically represents the unknown future and the circular structure represents humanity.
The Museum is a gateway to the future and will take you on a journey to 2071.
Three quotes, taken from the poems of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai written in Arabic calligraphy are engraved on the Facade. The following are the meanings of the quotes“:
- “The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it.”
- “We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone.”
- “The future does not wait. The future can be designed and built today.”

Le musée utilise la réalité virtuelle, la réalité augmentée et d'autres technologies modernes pour vous aider à jeter un coup d'œil sur l'avenir. La forme du bâtiment est celle d'un tore asymétrique, vous pouvez associer la forme à un œil ou à une ellipse. L’espace vide au milieu de la structure représente symboliquement le futur inconnu et la structure circulaire représente l’humanité.
Le Musée est une porte d'entrée vers le futur et vous fera voyager jusqu'en 2071.
Trois citations, tirées des poèmes du Cheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, le souverain de Dubaï, écrites en calligraphie arabe, sont gravées sur la façade. Voici la signification des citations :
- « L'avenir appartient à ceux qui peuvent l'imaginer, le concevoir et l'exécuter. »
- « Nous ne vivons peut-être pas des centaines d'années, mais les produits de notre créativité peuvent laisser un héritage longtemps après notre disparition. »
- « L'avenir n'attend pas. L’avenir peut être conçu et construit aujourd’hui.
