We went in a pick-up car from Jari to the entrance of Malana and after a 40-45 minute hike we reached the village of Malana and learned about the mysterious rules and temples there and we saw something quite strange in the village which doesn't happen at all in other villages.

This is a truly unique village. The only thing bad was the amount of trash in this village, as rightly pointed out by you. The male villagers constant state of high, and the female villagers working overtime making hash leads to no-one taking care of clealiness.

untouchability issue was prevalent in whole valleys of Himachal Pradesh, it was jus like covid guidelines back then to prevent disease spread & there were sarai in every villages where they could stay, some isolation guidelines are still followed in kullu during event's like birth of someone in the house, when someone dies in your Home (ppl don't touch others for 10-14 days) it was to ensure that person Hasn't died from any infectious disease (prevented plague like pandemics). it was a purely scientific approach shown in a poor way. thanx
