@@AggravatedMan365 it gives them something to pay attention to THAT more for. before if they get dusted by 40 then its just like "aw forget it, we got more games coming so this one won't matter in a week". but now you got something to win or lose for, the trophy, the money, the bragging rights, technically another accolade on your résumé. and more importantly people are actually paying attention to you more since the viewership is skyrocketing more than it has these past few years. they're basically getting an early taste of the playoffs of sorts. you get to see your weaknesses on full display in front of you very early in the season. you get a chance to fix them quicker. a lesson learned earlier.

Hes kinda right though, all year long the bucks have lacked the effort and defensive intensity that was their team identity. Jrue holiday was the glue that held this team together on the defensive end lillard is great but without him they don't have that edge they used to.

Not a INDY fan but Tyrese earn my respect. This tournament put a light on him. Dude made his guys a force to be reckon with during this small run so far. But goin into the playoff, if they can keep up this momentum the rest of the season, dont believe they goin to be an easy out for any of the top Eastern conference teams. Great tournament considering this is year 1 with 0 tradition Try envision 2029 and we have a history of this cup being passed down between many teams in maybe a couple of ot thrillers vegas games that would give prestige and at that point people would really care about this Like saying 2 times NBA cup champion and 3 times all star Like you would consider this more important to your resume than all star appearances

They hired the coach with Jrue still in the team. Apparently their reason for hiring was, he was the mind behind the Giannis wall when he was in Toronto with Kawhi. I can't really blame the coach so much defensively, but he does have to do better. I'm interested to see what their moves are going to be before the trade deadline.

You must be new to the Bucks! There was zero "structure" for the Bucks under Bud... His rotations and substitutions were horrible, had no ability to manage in-game pressure situations, clueless using Time Outs, zero defensive strategy unless you count letting opponents shoot open 3's... Bud was a trainwreck... Bucks should have had at the very least 2 titles and 3 NBA finals appearances if not for Bud.. I've never in my life seen a coach substitute all 5 players during a huge offensive run like Bud has done many many many times over. How the heck do you think the Bucks blew huge 4th qtr leads against Miami last year, it was due to Bud's dumb substitutions... Bud did the same thing against Toronto in game 6 of the ECF 3 years ago when the Bucks went on a run going up 17pts mid-way through the 3rd qtr then he unintelligently substituted 4 players and immediately the Raptors went on 22-3 run and never looked back. Bud is horrible.. why do you think no one pursued him in the off-season after he was fired... smdh

I don’t really agree that it shouldn’t get out of the locker room. I think the details shouldn’t but to know this happens is a good thing imo. That shows young future players what it takes to be a champion. If the Bucks end up winning at the end of the season then this becomes a turning point in the season for them that everyone will look back to as a good thing. As Shaq said this has happened to championship teams he’s been a part of. Some people think it’s all sunshine and rainbows when it’s a lot of up and down within a season and the team that can weather the storm usually ends up on top. We wouldn’t know this if it never “gets out the locker room”.

No matter what the score is coach Griff doesn't put Dame in the 4th until there's like 7 minutes or under on the clock and I've never seen any of Dames coaches play him this way his whole career unless they were up going into the 4th. Milwaukee fans never gonna truly be able to experience Dame time until coach takes Dame off that short leash and let him be him in the 4th at least

Hard to have a decent bench when you trade all your backup talent/salaries for a star. Indy's bench is a bunch of good bench players because their starting 5 are a bunch of good bench players and a rising star. Bucks bench is a bunch of pocket lint because they have 4 big names in the starting lineup. Middleton was a great 2nd option for YEARS. Lopez has been a defensive anchor for years as well. Cant get bench talent when you are putting everything into those 4. Your starting 5 needs to make up the difference, not the bench.@@nolaboycap

The Pacers definitely have a bright future. Haliburton reminds me of Stockton with some of those dimes. Super efficient, always seems to make the right play. He’s gonna be a long time all star for sure💪🏾
