Remember when the raptors drafted him and the sports media/social media start freaking out on how could they have pass on Jalen Suggs? I bet a lot of people are eating crow right now. Congratulations Scottie. Here's to hoping that this is just the beginning of what promises to be a wonderful career

I think it was more so the shock factor as we the fans had been dangled Suggs in front of our mouths for months leading up to the draft when scottie was still slated somewhere in the low-mid teens iirc. I want to say that pretty well immediately after his first media availability and that public letter he penned to the city, basically everyone was on his side and I think you would be tremendously hard pressed to find anyone who really still wishes they had taken Suggs over Barnes

@@GameChanger-xi4iy Don't think that number is accurate. Plus Scottie Barnes won rookie of the month during the period Allen was injured so would have to think at minimum, the personal numbers are comparable even if we are to believe your number. Barnes did have some spectacular games during that period himself and dude literally played all 5 positions on the court and did whatever the team needed. And normally, you'd be right on expectation of a rookie but the problem is when that was one of the major selling point of Mobley being ROY. His case starts to break down when you take into account their team record really faltered with Allen's injury. IMO Mobley's impact on the team's winning was overstated while Allen's was understated at the beginning and more people realized that once Allen went down.
