In this case, James Harden truthfully threw the entire team under the bus with those comments. Bad idea. He's not even in shape this season. Good for Houston moving on quick. With DeMarcus and John Wall on the defensive, they avoided a bad situation. GL to James Harden. With two other ball hogs, it's a ring or bust. TBH, IDK if this pairing lasts beyond one season. These guys are the biggest primadonnas out there. Barely any defense the Nets will need 140 to win games LMFAO. And whose gonna pass the ball, Steve Nash? You got a superstar who isn't in game shape, another superstar who hasn't shown up in days, with another superstar fresh outta an achilles injury. Fun times for the Nets. This season just became RING or BUST.

Shaq has a point. When you're the "star" player you have a huge responsibility on your shoulders to put in the work and perform in your games. That falls on you whether things are good or bad. It's an overused example at this point but look at Lebron, even in the years where things were bad, he would consistently be the top player for his team. That's what Harden is lacking.

@dua097 3 жыл бұрын
@Jam Drew id say that the organization put that talent out on the floor for him to play with so it could trickle back to them too. The rockets knew he wanted out at the beginning of the season and weren’t looking for trades much until he became dramatic so I think he just did what he had to do. Either way organizations will trade players in the middle of a game so I think players could do what they gotta do if they want out of the team
@dua097
@dua097 3 жыл бұрын
@Jam Drew that’s the past, going into this season the rockets were not gonna compete for a ring and everyone knows that. Him asking for cp3 gave them the best chance of going for a ring because there’s no way a team with Lou will, pat bev, and montrez Harrell were going to be better than what the rockets put together with cp3 so harden asking for him put them in a better position than what they were in. He signed that contract because at the time the rockets could compete but after it not working out and the rockets not building something new without cp3 he wanted out. Harden acted that way because the rockets initially backed out of a trade with the nets in 2020 so that’s when he took matters into his own hand and started coming late to camp etc, it may not be mature but he had to do what he had to do to get out or Houston would’ve just continued to be difficult in trade talks

@@jonghoonchung9906 Dude picks most of his assists up after he held the ball for 20 seconds or in garbage time. During garbage time he forces assists so he can get his stats. He don't care about helping his team thats why he stands around on D or when he's off ball. Dude literally stood at half court while off ball and the rest of his team played.

Looks like there are a ton of 1st round picks involved, I assume coming from the Nets. They are clearly looking at winning now and are willing to mortgage the future to do so. Sounds like a lot to give up, although, there will likely be other deals done every year and the Nets could gain some picks back in the future.
