He said that the 2 awards have slightly different values to him - Tatum being the best player in the best team deserves a place on All-NBA, but doesn't get the MVP votes just because of how good his team is.

All star is only 2/3 the season and fans/coaches/media impact voting. All NBA is cumulative without fan voting. That's the only explanation for disparities. And a few bad voters.

Oubre had to miss games too through injuries, kid had to play through injuries and illness because the team had no players/guards available. His starting centres were 6'8 Paul Reed and Mo Bamba.

People must not research and only listen to narrative. Leonard had a great overall year, played 68 games and his team was the 4th seed. His splits were 23.7/6.1/3.6 on 52.5/41.7/88.5. Btw besides this year and the bubble year, LBJ has missed 25 or more games since coming to LA. Curious 🤔

LeBron's greatest argument for being best player ever is the 20 straight all NBA selections. That is absolutely insane. There are only 15 slots every year (3 teams) for roughly 450 players. That type of consistency is unheard of in any pro sport.

Did you watch the season? Lebron only played 3 more games than Kawhi and Kawhi actually played both ends of the court with far greater efficiency. Lebron has been paying people to prop him up for years.

So how is SGA first team? Can someone explain to me at what level of competition has this man truly overcome. Not hating because I am also Canadian, but clearly Curry is both, more valuable to his team and is the leader of his team and he got 3rd. Don't bother coming at me with numbers, because if you truly follow the NBA, the T-Wolves vs the Mavs are the #1 & #2 def team (last 20 games for Mavs after the trade) because they can close out on rotations and create less open spaces. My point is, If SGA was truly better than Curry at the All-Star voting break, I get it. But when are we gonna realize there are levels to this, for example, as great as Jokic is, the Nuggets couldn't even get out of the 2nd round after winning last year when it's time to elevate your game to the next level. Same thing for SGA, how the f. does Curry goes to the Second Round last year but they gave SGA the 1st All NBA Team and Curry 2nd Team even tho his team didn't make the playoffs and now they added Chet and built around him, they still struggle to reach their potential. Being 3rd Team for Curry is disrespectful.

SGA averaged 30ppg and had a team I thought and many people thought would be the 9th-12th seed as the first seed and was top 3 in mvp. Easily first team all nba.

Shai stats: 30ppg, 5.5 rebounds, 6.2 ast, 2 steals on 53% fg, 35% from 3 Curry 26.4ppg, 4.5 rebounds, 5.1 ast, 0.7 steals, on 45% fg and 40% from 3. Anyone with a brain can see that Shai put up way better numbers across the board.
