5 жыл бұрынAbu Dhabi's Presidential Palace has opened its doors to the public for the very first time! We paid a visit and this is what we saw.
This is one of our longer form videos which as you know I am always nervous uploading as most of the videos we upload are usually around 3 minutes or less, however we have been experimenting with longer videos since the beginning of the year.
In this video there was so much beauty, culture and information that we believe give you such a close insight into who we are as residents and citizens of the United Arab Emirates, please let us know what you think as your feedback helps us grow and make better videos, much love as always for your support!

@@TilakMichael yea well all of them are from 7th century Arabia and the ones in the 19 and 20th century Arabia were never Muslim leaders by that time no caliphate was established besides the dying ottoman empire And @MrDubai was referring to the history of Islam not the history of an individual Emirates established under an almost secular rule

Even if it was Islamic arhitecht ,It is against islamic principles .... The video is really nice BUT... It is contradiction of the king ruling an islamic country to live such a luxurious life when neighbouring people are dieing due to hunger . It is not a mosque it is a presidential palace. Functions done in the palace help better of the common people. I dont know why muslims are so much against spending. Building this palace gave jobs to thousand helped architect show their skill and gave a good meaning pt for everybody and helps to keep stability of the country, while giving valuable experience. You cannot simply give money to poor simply throughing money to poor will only make them lazy and unskilled and also jobless and giving many social issues. While giving jobs could give them all the good of donation and give skill to them while providing somthing to society giving economic development. Building palace benefit labourers working in cement companies, transportation, sector, architects, laborers working on building, infrastructure builders and many many more while donating same amount, some people get some money just like lottery and next day its over.

Thank you so much to show us this palace,when i was in Dubai,i hoped to visited those amazing places but didn't have the time. The first place that made me falling in love with UAE was the Emirates Palade in Abu Dhabi,when i saw it on internet,i was so amazed by its architecture that i never stopped since this day to learn about UAE.

Khalid this video is awesome. Couple of weeks ago I didn't know anything about UAE, but through your work I got to know more about your Arabic culture and I love it! Now I dream someday I could visit Dubai, and not only because of this beautiful palace, but for the way people is accepted and respected there without religion discrimination as you showed in the video of the visit to the Hindus, as well as in the video of the nursing home for abused women, so touching btw. Do you know: The last person to enter heaven has a place in heaven equal to the starting of world to the ending of world increased by ten times. He has 80,000 servants and there is no salary for them. These palaces are nothing compared to heaven. We will be judged for every penny we used. So please spend money on only reasonable(essential) things and not luxuries. Why did Prophet Muhammad SAW denied having huge palaces and food? Why did he accepted one time lunch and 'hujra'? There was an obvious reason. If Allah has given you then please spend it somewhere which has affect on society. You can not take your money to your grave only your deeds. There is a short time. The end times are near.

Rizwan rizwi actually yes Islam was ruled by royal families since it began and the prophet didn’t say anything about royalty. And the ruling families in the UAE are loved by the people. Plus this is not a home of a ruler this was made to host world leaders no one lives there an if they did only locals have the right to agree or disagree you have no right to say how our ruler spends his money or the money of the government.

Things I agree with you: - Absolutely gorgeous. - Huge doors - The amount of thought that is put in every single detail. - Most part of the palace preserved the Islamic architecture Things I disagree with you and ask you questions accordingly: - If people have concern they will raised to leaders. If it is the case, why people are used to put in jail just even for one twit. - Collaboration of different people to build UAE. Do you see the living situation of workers in UAE?! - Arab golden age in math and science. I know the Islamic golden age where many if not most of the Islamic scientists were not Arab. - The Oud, Arab instrument. By consensus, Oud is from Mesopotamia around 3000BC, used by Sumerian (Current Iraq) who were Aryan not Arab. - Hope, peace, understanding and leadership. With the current role of UAE in the region eg: Libya, Syria, Egypt...you name it, do you think what you said is true?!

Let not the negative comments discourage you Khalid. This is a beautiful modern masterpiece that you rightfully must be proud of as a citizen, and I hope to see more like this. I have a lot of friends and relatives in UAE, and I know from them that UAE is significantly open and progressively ahead of most other middle-east nations (along with Oman) in embracing people of all background and culture. People who complain about labour conditions in UAE, either doesn't really know what it means and are unfairly stereotyping all of middle-east because of one bad example, or take too much things for granted.

Just total opposite to what the rightly guided khalifa's of Islam were. And to see this promoted as some kind of favor to the people of his kingdom is a joke. Its sad to see how low current Islamic leaders have fallen in terms of Islamic teachings. They don't even have an ounce of courage to stand against the atrocities been committed against poorest of the Muslims like in China because they know they might lose their wealth and these palaces. The umma doesn't need huge palaces but a rightly guided heart that can bring the umma together and fight for the rights of the most oppressed. Shame on all of them especially Saudia and UAE.
