I looked at the earth cruisers, all terrrain warriors and these all at 350,000 and NOW getting a used jeep 4x4 with a pop top bed, full interior slide out kitchen fridge combo, flat floor, full electronics, emergency beacon, and all equipment for $25,000:) GO FIGURE, its smaller but CHEAPER:)

These shows are no different than other shows for other types of vehicles...thus, they're built/thrown together with little time for *everything* to be thoroughly checked out before being shown to the public! I'm sure for the price you pay @ pick-up...everything will work just as it should!

I was thinking the same. Figuring you could get a new F350 King Ranch with a full spec Lance camper on top with many more features. Sure you take a hit on off-road capability but you can still reach 90% of the places this would get to.

Also....Why have the 'clipped' corner on the bed? Wastes storage space underneath, makes access to wet room no easier, mattress probably harder and more expensive to replace, and of course reduces sleeping area of the bed. Can anyone tell me why they would have intentionally added this to the design? Having said that, I think the general layout inside is very good. Good size wet-room. Often I think that way too much space is given to a dining table and seats rather than a good shower area. The guy showing the truck seemed bored with the whole thing. 'Yeah, buy it don't buy it, what do I care, we make so much money I don't have to try' Price? - If I had it, I wouldn't be spending over quarter of a million dollars on this truck camper. But that's just my view. :-)

I looked at there website there charging 50,000 for there off road upgrade package. 50,000 truck allowance. so right there is 100k So really there charging you 170k for just the Box. I was also told this truck uses special windows that are 5k each. Its crazy...

Yes, you can choose any of the 550/5500 Ford/Dodge and maybe even the GM chassis.

The Spare tire is hooked to a electric winch.

But the Earthroamer is a dual cab. Putting a cab-over bed on a single cab body will just look weird and hamper driver vision. I like the other white truck in the background, the XT, but it's scary expensive

@@shawnbeckmann1847 These trucks start out at 200,000 that includes the truck then goes up from there. I spent some time on the phone with one of there reps. There selling the used truck as new. Its a model they built and are using for events. I really don't see how that's not a used truck but there calling it new.

So you can work on it if it breaks down. Saving space is fine as long as everything keeps working. But true luxury is having some space around the critical components like battery, water, etc. so you can easily work on it if something breaks down in the middle of nowhere.
