If you want to light up some serious shit, use a 18v torch light. From Makita, Milwaukee, dewalt, etc. Usually 700+ yards range, or you can change how it directs the light focus to just fully illuminate a room. Part of my job is dealing with abandoned or vacant properties with the power off, so for taking pictures and diagnosing issues, its a must.

I have heard 3 different owners from different people. Some say it was an adult movie stars mansion. I'm just going with what seemed more plausible, as a neighbor told me this rather than other explorers. There's always more to the story here and I don't always explain myself. Hope this helps anyone doubtful

It’s all bologna. Simply look it up. Get the past owners names. It’s not hard. Think about it, why would Tiger Woods want to live here. Not his type. An adult film star doesn’t have that kind of money either unless it’s a huge name. They can’t maintain that. But again why would they want this place? That’s why it’s abandon…

I struggle to understand how and why people with so much money decide to build properties so large that they could 'quite literally' get lost in them. Property taxes and running costs of such an immense property must run into thousands every year. Money better spent on developing smaller properties, building a portfolio, and reaping the benefits in the letting market sounds like a better investment, in my opinion. Yet people with wealth continue to build these short-lived mansions.

I am property valuer these houses cost an extraordinary amount to build then the running expenses rates, taxes, maintenance cost a fortune. The market for these exclusive properties comes and goes. In this very poor state of repair and when the market is down they can be purchased very cheaply. You need the where with all (huge income) to own this property.

I hope that someone gets it cheap. The heat bill, insurance and repairs would be expensive.

@@gregorylyon1004 In Australia when we have recession or economic downturn turn these huge prestigious properties can sell very cheaply, and when the economy is strong the opposite tends to happen they go for huge prices. This property appears to need major restorations ie specialist tradesmen, who are very expensive. Property might suit a successful builder.

Entering any home that has a Security Fence around itis a great way of getting a criminal record for yourself and having to pay a lawyer to represent you in court. recoding yourself jumping over a security fence and then climbing in though a second story window evidence of a crime. Video taping their illegal entry is all of the evidence any prosecutor needs to prove to a jury that criminal conduct took place. This video recording is all the evidence the homeowner needs to press criminal charges and file suit for all of the tens of thousands of dollars in damages they want to claim these guys did. This home is NOT abandoned, since the owner is still paying the monthly eclectic bill since 2008 when it was last lived in.

There is no such thing as an "abandoned" home. The property the home is on, no matter what condition the home, is owned by the state. If the home is paid off in full and has not been "willed" or "gifted" to someone, the state owns the home because of the land it is on. Abandoned homes do not have temporary fences around them.
