Today AD brings you to the lush hillside neighborhood of Los Feliz in Los Angeles to visit the enchanting home of actress Vanessa Hudgens. Hudgens spent five years searching for the right property before settling upon the Georgian colonial house she now calls home, undertaking renovations both on her own and in tandem with interior designer Jake Arnold. With her work comes many nights on the road (she stars in Lin Manuel Miranda’s upcoming directorial debut, “Tick, Tick...Boom!”) meaning Vanessa’s home has become a place to return to, renew, and reconnect. “It’s nice to know that when I get home, I’ll have a bath waiting for me. I always savor that first soak.”

As an architect, this is one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen. It's romantic, it's vintage, it's cozy. Edit: english is not my first language! These "basic" words were the only few that I could think of, lol! I believe what I ment is that her home is a perfect mix of modern and old, clean surfaces, materials with a bit of texture.. It's a combination not always easy to achieve. Congrats to her design team.

her over grown vine backyard is so magical. the overgrown garden, fruit trees, gas lanterns, the hidden little water balloon area.... definitely would feel so cozy and comfortable.

Digging the fact she collects things. The "empty" spaces in her home just feel like she's waiting for the right pieces to come along and fit there - there's no rush to buy placeholders or generic items. It all feels pretty intentional, which is really refreshing for a celebrity home. Looking forward to paige wassel to cover this one!

I’ve actually watched a lot of celebrities give a tour of their home & have always noticed most people stick to the same 2 words (example: beautiful/ my favorite) This woman described every inch of her HOME with so much detail / description down to each artist & why she chose it. Bruh just because you know the history of the house doesn’t mean you actually live there, a broker might know better, the architect, a historian, shoot, a collector might know better. And if you’re an owner of a beautiful property, you surely liked to know your property, it doesn’t mean you live there or not, you own it... it’s your right to know especially if you have a collector side of you.. she can have another house in Calabasas just because you know the history doesn’t mean you live there 24/7/365 could be 3 months of the year could be less..

I love she was in depth with all the pieces, you can tell she’s extremely excited to share not only the piece but the back story. Secret garden was mesmerizing and the whole feel of the home didn’t feel we were in today era.... definitely brought me back in time.

This is hands down my favorite home on this channel because I love the different vibes the house gives, and although you have a French vibe with a pinch of Italian the combination works very well and I feel like the earthy vibe brings it together

What a beautiful home! So often, people who can afford it, have homes that are over-sized, contemporary, sterile mansions that have expensive features but lack warmth, character and imagination. Vanessa's home exudes quality with attention to details. She blended old world French, Italian, English and whimsical fairy-tale aspects with vintage 50's Hollywood and modern-day contemporary design seamlessly. She did an amazing job!

This is one of the most gorgeous homes and outdoor spaces I have ever seen! Everything felt very modern and yet had lots of vintage charm. There was so much color and texture and life--I loved everything about it! And Now I want a black bathroom!

An absolutely stunning home and serene haven. I love the Mediterranean feel, the beautiful French doors, and the romantic, old Hollywood glamour and vintage touches throughout. The soft orange and terracotta tones work nicely against the fresh white, and greenery of the plants. Offset by the deeper dramatic tones of the gorgeous powder room and bathroom. Just a delight, start to finish!

I have no idea what her financial situation is, this is merely an assumption but I wonder if she sold it because she can't afford it. The landscaping costs to keep that place tidy would be insane. The ivy up and down the house? The backyard area? There's a lot of upkeep with that place.

This is my favorite celebrity home. So much texture, color, history and originality. I had stopped looking at celebrity homes because they all had that same white minimalist look to them. @@rrr441 They mean that the house doesn't take up most of the space - there's a lot of open areas, garden, yard etc, and the rooms feel like.. human sized rooms. Some of the celebrity houses we've seen are so gigantic that they don't feel homey at all
