@Passionate_History_Lover I'm not saying it's currently a pagan temple, I'm saying it was made from a pagan temple. Since I'm not islamic, to me it's a pagan temple converted to Islam. A passionate history lover would know that.

@Passionate_History_Lover Yes, the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia was once a sacred place for nomadic Middle Eastern traditions and housed pagan idols before Islam. Even some practicing Muslims believe this to be true justifying it's ownership by God with right of conquest.

​​​@@faraday9234Firstly, the Ka'aba was never a Pagan temple. Let me explain. Prophet Abraham (PBUH), his second wife Hagar and their son Prophet Ishmael (PBUH) went from Syria where they lived to Arabia while Abraham (PBUH) first wife Sarah stayed in Syria. There, they built the Ka'aba on God's orders so that it would serve as the universal direction of prayer for all the believers. After they built it, Abraham (PBUH) went back to Syria leaving Ishmael (PBUH) and Hagar in Arabia on God's orders altought he visited them every single day with the help of the Buraq (A creature that has the body of a horse, the head of a human and wings. It is capable of moving to the speed of light) to bring them supplies. Prophet Ishmael (PBUH) taught the Arabs Hanifism (Religion of Abraham (PBUH)). After his death, his descendants built the city of Mecca around the Ka'aba. A long time later, in the 3rd century AD, an inhabitant of Mecca named Amr ibn Luhay from the Jurhum tribe travelled to Syria to search for a cure against a disease the people of Mecca had never seen before. On his way, he met a people who were descendants of the Amalekites. They gave him an idol of Hubal, the God of divination, rain and war and told him he could cure him. Amr ibn Luhay returned to Mecca and began worshiping Hubal instead of God until his death. He thus set an example for the Arabs who added other Gods and rituals until the majority of Arabs switched from Hanifism to Paganism. So in conclusion, the Ka'aba was not a Pagan temple but the house of God built by his 2 Prophets Abraham (PBUH) and Ishmael (PBUH) on his orders before it was turned into a Pagan temple when the Arabs abandoned Hanifism for Paganism. Secondly, the Muslims did not just take Mecca by force for no reason. The Muslims conquered Mecca because they were betrayed. The Muslims had a treaty with the Quraysh tribe that ruled Mecca. The treaty stipulated that there would be no fighting between the 2 sides and their allies for 10 years. But just 2 years after the treaty was signed, the Banu Bakr tribe who were allies of the Quraysh attacked the Khuza'a tribe who were allies of the Muslims. In complete violation of the treaty, the Quraysh helped the Banu Bakr with men, supplies and weapons. When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) heard the news, he and his allied tribes raised an army together and marched towards Mecca which surrendered without a fight. So don't try to make Mecca look like a victim here. In conclusion, no. Mecca was not taken for no reason...

@gatewayofislam786 Yes, I know it is the most holy site for Muslims. And I know what Muslims' stories are about it and its history. But no one can debate what I said about the other negative... that perhaps Muslims have been tricked. I look for someone to prove this wrong. And also... in all the videos I have watched... no one has answered my questions. 👇 Why is there an altor in the Kaaba? For sacrifice? Who will stand there? Why gold offerings & why hung on a rope? Why has the curtain covering always been black? It's said the rock turned black over time because of peoples sin... but I saw dark red & black... like coagulated blood. Why does this rock seem so sinister? Just what if Islam's Mahdi is the fake one?? Isn't that what is said about both Christian & Jews messiah??? So only 1 can be the real messiah. That means 2 will be false. I even once heard that Jesus will join with Islam's Messiah in the battle against evil. Many conflicting stories.

You do know the title "House of God" given to the Ka'aba is a metaphorical term and we don't actually believe that God lives inside it, right ?
