We may not think about it, but whenever you step outside, your shoes come in contact with all kinds of germs. Meaghan Murphy is always on the move. She's "Good Housekeeping" magazine's executive editor and an expert on cleanliness in the home. Most days she takes the New York City subway and pounds the pavement heading to work and home. "Nobody looks down, they are busy we're moving," she told Inside Edition. What she sometimes finds on the street is disgusting. #InsideEdition

I thought it was normal for people to take their shoes off in their house, and my mom always tells me to look down at the sidewalk so I don't fall but I also avoid the dirty stuff.

I have always taken off my shoes once I get inside my house, It’s just gross in my opinion that someone would wear their shoes inside their own house.
