I got my head stuck in the bars of a door once, it took like 30mins to get me. 25 of those minutes were beacuse people wouldnt stop laughing and actually help me, even my neighbors where dropped on the floor in tears talking about how big my eyes got everytime they tried pulling me out Such an embarassing experience

As someone who’s been dealing with chronic insomnia for almost 20 years, I don’t know which would be worse. I’d love to be able to say I’m going to sleep or take a nap and actually be able to do either, at that moment. I usually get jealous of seeing people sleep.

I feel for that little boy, I did the same thing when I was a toddler. My army sergeant cousin had to scale the tree to get me back down. Defintely wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be lol.

I remember when I was 11 I had a seatbelt around my chest and hips. I had a headache earlier and decided to lay down until we got where we were going. When my moms friend stopped at a gas station and I had gotten up, I realized I had the seat belt wrapped around me. I tried getting out but my every move only made it tighter and harder for me to breath. Luckily a man came to my rescue by cutting the seatbelt with a pocket knife. Really don’t want that happening again.

I once got stuck in a branching tree. I boxed a football our of the branches, wanted to jump down just to realizes my biceps/elbow was stuck in the tight branching part. My WHOLE weight was suspended on my biceps slipping to my elbow. I'm 220lbs and it hurt like hell. Blood was running down my arm as the bark teared off my skin. My friends were quick thinking and didn't joke around. They boosted each other up to act as a "floor" for my foot. I pushed myself off and could get out. My arm was bloody, bruised, blue and hurt like hell. Nevertheless I enjoyed the day and kept on playing with my buddies

There’s a difference between being afraid to come down from a tree and not being able to come down. There’s some parts that you can climb up but not down, especially when you’re a 3ft tall kid. At least without hanging and dropping down from branch to branch which isn’t climbing and you’re likely to fall. So basically it’s very possible to be stuck. Anyone who’s climbed anything to any significant height knows the feeling. Thus with experience you learn to stop at those parts.

At my school we had these really cool half tires placed into the play area sand, some were normal size and some were very big and could fit two people on each side. You could sand which yourself in them on a hot day or most commonly it was a great place to hide in a game of hide and seek. However, you were disallowed to play on them once you were in year five, because you had potentially become too big to use them safely. I don’t think that type of play equipment would fly today but man we’re they fun. The occasional fourth grader had an early growth spurt, and would find themselves stuck while teachers pried him out. It was funny tbh.
