I'm Ecuadorian and I have to correct Diego Maradona is not the youngest to debut on World Cup elimination. It's Jorge Martín Nunez the Paraguayan debuted with his national team at age of 15.

I am also from Ecuador and I am going to correct you. The video doesn't say that Maradona was the youngest to debut in a world cup qualifier match. It just states that Maradona was the youngest to debut with the senior national team, it was a friendly match between Argentina vs Hungry. Remember that around the time Maradona was 16 Argentina was organizing the world cup (1978), and the FIFA world cup host (Argentina) does not have to play any qualifier match as it is qualified by default. That made Páez the youngest to debut with the senior national team in the history of qualifiers.

I know Chelsea have put Paez out on loan for 2 seasons but he should have went to Borussia. They really work hard in bringing young players through. When he goes back to Chelsea, I can't see him getting many minutes at 18yrs old 😢
