Great imagines, it's only a matter of time when that part of the point disappears forever. You can see from the aerial shots, even the progression further back is slowly being engulfed as well.

Sand shifting ? Who'd have thunk it? I blame climate change and Donald Trump.

We'll be joining the barge off the dirt track shortly at this rate. Ps, can we use charcoal to cook (open fire?) on fraser? Where can i find said info in case ranger's hassle me. Thanks & cheers.

You can use a fully enclosed cooking device with artificial coal (no wood) - 20cm off the ground. No naked flames. Qpws website has all the specs

Mother nature at work, environmentalists will blame excessive amounts of 4x4's 😮💨
@ProudAussie2328 күн бұрын
Yep ..Just the tides moving stuff around ....same thing has been happening to the tip of Amity Point on Straddie forever.Why do humans think we have so much power to change nature? We are just a blip in history compared to nature . It will do exactly as it pleases... as it always has and always will .

Yeah imagine being a P plater getting the hate from a thousand Karen's and "green" heads on the internet for doing donuts on the sand and wrecking the environment, to then see the whole area sink into the water. 😂
@Mr_RPE28 күн бұрын
well it is, imagine how much sand the 4x4s have taken from the beach bud lmao
@ProudAussie2327 күн бұрын
@@Mr_RPE seriously ? mate the sand displaced by a 4wd drive on an area like that would be a bees dick compared to the many ,many hundreds of thousands of tons of sand that makes up that spit . The ocean gives and it takes away .It is all tides and currents..and bugger all to do with humans driving on the top few inches of sand dunes ....and yes I hate the dickheads who rip up sand dunes but mainly just because they are a danger to other people not the sand.I have watched the tip of Straddie's spit wax and wane massively over 50 years ...all caused by tides as no one drives on it.

@@TruBluOffroadJust imagine all the P platers having respect for others, and not effing around and pissing off the authorities, who dream of any excuse to shut it all down?
