What I really love about this is the subversion. The whole video makes you think Inspector Gadget is going to be the evil scary villain, and then he gets hurt and we see him broken and vulnerable. The end scare is actually the fact that he's horribly injured and you're utterly powerless to help him.

Visuals are amazing, storyline and quests are immersive, combat system is solid and most of all has no bugs. 10/10

Holy shit, literally everything about this video is perfect lmao. The grainy 3d graphics, the transition from cutscene to still at 0:39, and the animations are all exactly what I'd expect out of a crappy 90's computer game.

Man this is so well done and accurate. I love it because it reminds me of similar nightmares I had when I was a kid after playing my pc games. I had this Monkey Island knock-off game called Gilbert Goodmate. I was stuck trying to solve a puzzle and that same night I dreamed about some game over screen where the main character’s body was cut in pieces and locked in a cave, and his head was blaming the player (me) for failing the quest

The FMV sequence near the end is literally perfect lol! Like everything down to the motion blur, different aspect ratio, the sound effects. If someone showed that to me without context I would have assumed it was actually from a bad Inspector Gadget game.

I think people (myself included) REALLY love Inspector Gizmo, and his bootleg 90's "edutainment"(not sure what we learn other than Gizmo is mildly sinister and incompetent...) feel of a game.
