The Country Diary Of An Edwardian Lady is a wonderful book for every season full of poetry and seasonal diaries. A Poem For Every Autumn Day is a book I absolutely love (and all the Poem series for each day).

I think what you said today was of great importance. You’re right, we can feel like there’s so much we want to do. I make a point to get outside, even with a chill, and just observe quietly. So much beauty, it actually makes me emotional. Early this morning, I played on the slide in the park with the kids in my before school program. Later, I stopped in a store to get a drink before an appointment and saw a lovely loaf of cinnamon raisin sour dough bread. My favorite time of year is definitely autumn. When I have my wood supply in, all the canning and drying of our vegetable garden done and my card table set up with the first of my 1,000 piece autumn scene jigsaw puzzle ready to go, I feel ready for my season. Nice fall theme video.

(Where we live we have already had the first frost, all trees have changed and many leaves on the ground...the weather forecast predicts snow for next week...here the autumn is very short and intense, so is spring and summer...but then we live in the Arctic region...soon we will have the long dark polar night...the sky will be full of stars and the northern light will dance over the dark sky in our world far up north...)

Enjoyed! I was in England the month of September! And wow the weather tu e first two weeks was being in Boston or New York during the height of summer! Then the storm came and washed away summer and autumn rolled in. It was a beautiful transition. I was in Bath when the weather finally shifted and fall filled the air! I loved it. At home we had a few heatwaves in October but as October winds down the autumn is here and there is a crisp chill in the air. We are an ecosystem of evergreens and deciduous trees though here are not in abundance so our landscape is not burning in reds, golds or oranges. However the nights are chilly and sweaters, hot drinks and bundling up is becoming routine again. Yay! Thank you for your autumnal thoughts! ❤

It's so soothing to watch this. I believe Nature is so beautiful that it deserves to be appreciated in the best ways with the best words, this makes me praise Allah, how He has fashioned everything. I've always dreamed to be in places like villages and fields, away from the chaotic cities and polluted air...but now I look at it differently, I think if I get to live in such places in the most cozy way I may not be as appreciative as I am now, sitting at a distance, watching someone enjoy what I too desire. I am starting to think that perhaps true happiness is not the destination itself but may be it's in the way to the desired destination. May be the desire to be somewhere will excite me more than being in the place itself.

Hello, I actually don't like autumn, it meanss the end of summer and when the leaves are falling and it gets dark early in the afternoon/evenimg and it gels cold , I feel depressed and I l don't want to get up in the morning, I rather sleep all day.
