I prefer to do things by hand too, physically there and I can by my own hand adjust as needed as you explained, easier is not the best way like this thinking used in advertising all the time; another winner and inspirational to me - off to the studio!

I totally enjoyed watching the process. I was concerned when I started printing large scale following your methods that my work would be a copy...but, happily, that hasn't happened....I should have realized that my results would come from my own personal choices of color, shape, mark making and collage papers.

Sonia D.’s one of my favorites, as well as Lee Krasner and Joan Mitchell. I’m interested in what you do with the inspiration. Good results. As you say: “pretty cool” indeed.

Sonia D and her husband Robert were the art powerhouses of their time. their work is still as powerful , inspiring and fresh today.

Gesso gives whatever paper you are using a clean surface to work on. This is a personal choice. I use gesso on canvas when I paint to seal the fibers of the cloth.
