At least 30 women embraced Islam at the Meadow Heights Mosque in Melbourne, Australia after being deeply moved and witnessed the Palestinians’ strong faith amid Israel's brutal military offensive.
Jacqueline Retzack who recently converted to Islam said, “I converted due to the ongoing conflict and I wanted to be closer to Islam and Gaza.”
Christine Crnogonac expressed her profound connection to the concept of one God in Islam and the inspiration it provides for the Palestinian struggle.
“The issues in Palestine… it just makes me cry on a daily basis,” she added.

Never ever.... I Know thousands.... That’s not what they have done. Every revert has a story. We all come to Islam for many reasons. I’m Australian. I came to Islam 18 years ago in Melbourne after the Bali Bombings. I knew very little about Islam then and wanted to make sense of it at a time when my fellow countrymen were hurting and in such pain. One book led to another, one class, one conference. These women will be no different. We have been given a sound bite and have not heard their individual stories. As for Palestine, it is not a religious issue, but it is because of the teachings of Islam that the Palestinians have survived decades of occupation and apartheid. As Muslims we appreciate that as do those with softened hearts.

It’s not a religious issue, that I agree with. However their strength cannot be denied, many Palestinians attribute this strength to their religion. That cannot be denied and is to be respected. Religion is a beautiful thing when not in the hands of the corrupt or power hungry. Which most of us are not corrupt of power hungry, normal folk simply yearn for peace, love and respect.

They're vulnerable , innocent (as they think every Muslim guy out there must be like an ideal Muslim) From my observation : some guys get crazy when they see some White revert (Because , generally speaking : fair skin is more desirable characteristic)
