Longevity doesn't matter if you've won it all. Better to go out on top than to stick around to long.if you can compete at the highest level and win then by all means go ahead. But if you're going to make a fool of yourself it's better to call it a day. And that goes for all sports.

I always refer to guys like Nico Rosberg in F1 in cases like these. He won the Championship, best Lewis Hamilton in equal machinery and called it a day. Messi only stuck around playing at the highest level in Europe until he won the World Cup and then went to the US to make some retirement money. Pele won 3 World Cups, and retired early as well as he felt he achieved everything and became more of a celebrity at the end also finishing his career in the US. You don't need to overstay your welcome, those guys are secure in what they are and have achieved, Michael Jordan was the same, he even left for another sport.

Im a durant fan but god damn the way he scored all series was just dominant. He scored on everyone gaurding him but in a way that the defender had no chance of stopping him. The way hes pulking double/triple teams to him is crazy.
