We are teaching my 5 year grand child kindness and for some reason she can't play soccer😂. She does not understand how to be competitive and kind at the same time. That's an example of mixed messages children are getting. So one of her games I told her go around!

Reminder: The whole reason Labor Day exists is that it was a day factory workers in the U.S. would go on strike if they felt they weren't being paid enough or had unsafe work conditions, & they would remain on strike until their bosses met with them to meet at least some of their demands. Back in the late 19th & early 20th centuries, if Labor Day worker strikes occurred they were very successful in benefiting the lives of unions, but nowadays so few Americans are in unions at a time when we desperately need them.

It's time to hold these companies accountable for hiding behind contractors and contract work. My family and I have worked in the fields the past 20 years and about 10 years ago one of these truckers hit my dad too he was stuck between his wheelbarrow and the truck. Thank God that he was okay and was just in muscle pain for a bit but he could have been so much worse. The truckers drive like they're in the freeway not next to dozens of people.

I know this is supposed to be inspirational of some sorts, but this is the reality for most people these days. They will have to work until they are dead, never ending. And it's nice this lady gets to do something she loves, but there is a certain irony here when most people don't get the same privilege and her generation is kinda responsible for that . Plus, let's not forget the fact that because of the greed from the medical industry, most of us aren't going to even be able to live to age this lobster lady gets to enjoy. Yaaay tone def
