Ah, gotcha! Thanks for the video. I totally get where you're coming from. I actually have the Action 4, and my girlfriend has the Ace pro. We've had some interesting discussions comparing the two. The quick release system on the A4 has been pretty reliable for me, and I haven't had any major issues with it. On the other hand, my girlfriend's Ace pro quick release system, while also decent, has at times given her a bit of trouble with locking and unlocking it. It's not a deal-breaker, though. In terms of the battery, the A4 seems to be extremely efficient with battery consumption, but the Ace pro isn't far behind. I've noticed that my camera can really stretch the battery life, and I find the battery case simply amazing. Our shooting styles are different so I can't say which one lasts longer, but I guess it doesn't even matter. As for the voice control, well, I barely use it, but when we were playing around with it, they were both on par, maybe with the A4 reacting a bit faster. Overall, I feel there's not a huge gap, just for different uses.

Undeniable indeed. What's up Insta360 haha. I was a Gopro guy until I tried one of yall's cameras. My hero 10 wouldn't shoot longer than 15 mins at 4k 60 in any condition without overheating. It would also catch stray frequencies and turn on randomly at night and drain the battery, and when recording, it would chop video up into little 5 min bites. I took it back to Best Buy and got an Insta360 One RS twin for the SAME PRICE as the noGo. That's two cameras for the price of one. I'll never use another action camera. I've had ZERO problems with Insta360. If I had a big enough memory card, I could record indefinitely without fear of overheating, and I live in the Southern US where it's HOT and HUMID. I tell everyone considering action cams this story haha.

I currently own 3 insta360 products, and loved the video quality from the 1" sensor from oneRS. because its not waterproof, I stick to using flow & X3. I hope next X4 release can be 1" sensor, and also retains the single lens mode..

My friend, I would like to see a low-light comparison between the insta360 Ace Pro and the insta360 One RS 1 inch Edition camera. I know the 1 inch Edition has a 3.2 aperture vs a f2.6 for the Ace Pro, but we want to see what has a bigger effect on low light detail: sensor or aperture. I am aware that the Ace Pro has a lot of enhancements through digital processing, many of which are found in the high-end cell phones of today. But it will still be an interesting comparison.

Marketing pushes Utubers toward Action 4 … but simple test shows it’s a crap in real life … direct sunlight - no hdr - and the footage is a garbage … I do have action 2 and looking for an upgrade … not a big fan of GP but new kid on the block looks awesome … not sure if ever need a 10 bit … great test.
