As much as I like the 360 videos. I really do not like to edit on my phone. Its too bad they cant apply this multiview editing to the PC software. I dont see very good instructions on how to get to the multiview video and edit the video with the parent company. I am glad you have showed a little on this topic. I think a PC software would work much better for us older guys.

Is there a way to change the framing of the multi view?? When I click multi view, it creates its own crop which is too zoomed in

I've just known that it's better to edit video in the Story tab. Usually, I use the Album tab and when exporting, nothing goes beyond Quick Upload Setting. Thanks for that info...

Do you add music to the clip in the edit program before export or do you use the music effect in lats say Instagram? When you shoot yourself for instance "Me mode" what range do you have your camera at for the best shot? IS the 120 cm selfie stick good or longer range?

I typically have much larger clips and the camera gets pretty hot while trying to edit what I’d like. Does anyone have any experience with the desktop app for Mac?

awesome...thx for the instruction! do you know how to make the "selfie" vid cover a larger area? For example...on the insta360one x 2 official webpage, it shows the multi view in a car and both the driver and the passenger are viewable at the same time. However, every time I've tried multi view, it will only focus on me and not the passenger. I assume its possible because its shown right on the official OneX 2 page being done. That's the trouble with selfie view. You cannot really choose who to focus on. It can focus on anyone. I don't if they used a different workflow to customise their selfie view 🤔

I have been watching your video's and you do a great job I really want to go for this camera but have been worried that my phone will not be compatible I have looked on the 360 site and checked the phones that are compatible and could not see mine there. I have a moto G8 power is any body using this phone and will it work. I have seen somewhere that people with android phones only get some of the editing futures. can any body advise me please thank you.

Yea it's really hard to say whether it will work on your phone or not. It's not only the phone that's a factor, it's the other apps you have, storage, and other things that clog up the phone's hardware resources too. Everyone's phone is different so the app will behave differently. It's best to have one of the latest flagship phones for the best experience. Android app works perfectly fine. iOS app has a few more feature than Android.

The seflie view feature on Multiview should be able to be user controlled instead of AI generated =/ I tried getting my reaction to be in view at the same time as the view in front of me, but the AI generated selfie view of myself starts too late. It starts the view as the same view as what I AM able to control, INSTEAD of it being centered on myself, to then quickly rotate the view to seflie view, but you don't see my entire reaction. I'd want to be able to see my reaction from the beginning. Anyway to fix this?

I take two videos then add them together in capcut. IMHO it's a massive flaw in the technology

I always prefer to edit to the music. I will pick the music, feel the beat, and edit to the beat. But the app doesn't allow you to edit to the beat. You can only just overlay music really... So on the insta360 app I just add music at the end.

I just did my first edit with this. Great video. But, when I exported it, the non-selfie view wasn't completely in the direction that I wanted it to be. I thought I had it looking forward before I exported it, but maybe I didn't? Is there a set way to do it? I did have direction lock on also. Thanks for all you do on this channel

Hello, since my Android phone and One R both have USB-C, can i just connect it directly and transfer the files to the Insta360 app that way? Sometimes the file sizes are hefty and could take forever to transfer wirelessly when trying to edit. I've been having connection issues pairing the One R to the iPhone lately so i thought I'd jump over to Android since I had a spare one lying around, but could use a bit more streamlined workflow especially transferring files...

Unfortunately insta360 cameras do not support transferring files via cable right now

@@Best360 hopefully its not a hardware limitation and can be fixed by future software updates. If I want to edit videos in Lumafusion, do I really have to transfer the files from my mem card to my external SSD via a pc or mac, before transferring them onto my iPad? Is there a shorter way to do this, I may be unaware of some workaround. My macbook from 2019 is too slow to handle these edits on Premier or FCP and battery drains really fast..

You can transfer files directly from the camera to your phone/iPad. And also back up your files on your pc

i made video on One X2 I took its memory card and plugged in my Samsung A72 phone. how can I copy files to Android Studio App from memory card. I can't find Studio App folder in my phone internal memory

I don’t have an android phone anymore so I don’t know exactly where the folder is, but it’s somewhere hidden within the file directories. You just need to look really hard for it

From Luma fusion you can export 4K. I would say about 1 minute itself for a 1 minute video

I remember it used to allow u to adjust both frames, now one of them has to automatically track the person, which is just stupid (I am not saying this use case is not legit, I am saying removing the original flexibility is stupid). Not everyone wants to do selfie-style vlogs.
