I had the same issue with the camera not connecting and it was becouse of the protection on the back. They should have made the protection-sticker stick out with a text saying "PULL" or something like that. There was no mention anywhere that i could see that said that there was a protection that had to be removed. I am pretty technical building my own drones and so on but i missed this. I wonder how many "non technical" persons will have the same problem, i would guess alot!

You also seemed to have missed the removable sticker on the lens - you won't get good results with that left on. When unpacking any such equipment, if there's a little pull tab on any label, that shows it has to be removed. The label on the back and the label on the camera both have such pull tabs. Also, first rule of firmware updating of any device - fully charge the battery, then update.

I just got my 2nd Insta360 go 2 and opened it. The adhesive on the back of the camera that many people probably accidentally leave on is now RED in color so easy to see it needs to be removed.

thanks man for the tip of peeling off the sticker from the back of the camera, probably i would of being wondering why the camera battery still flat after many hours of charge Lol!

Had the same issue as well until I worked out you had to peel it off the back to establish the initial connection with my Android Phone. The most annoying thing is the camera turning ON when you accidentally bump it, then wondering what the hell is it doing now. Lost count of the times camera has fallen off the round magnetic plate when your doing POV video and because it is so light you really forget its there or not. So easy for some one to brush up against it. (kids) The Original Insta 360 Selfie Stick that came with my Insta 360 One X will not work with the GO 2. The 1/4 inch thread just not long enough. Many online Videos showing how great the Go2 is are all using cases that connect to a GoPro type cage/mount yet none is supplied with your GO2 and as of today as they have yet to make it available to ship out. I would like to see more How To Guides with the software in post production Videos

Yep, I had the same first mistake of not removing the sticker on the back of the camera too. Second I still can't change the menu to English. I saw check mark on English, but the menu still in Chinese.
