I think this is one the best unique uses of this camera. It avoids all the pitfalls of an action camera (inability to keep up with video data stream and pixelation). I'm sold now.

Hi .. next challenge could be a HyperLapse with DNG fotos (a video HL is easy) timelapae with moving tripod .. how to get rid of changeing horizon in this situation? Btw. what is the shortest time period for timelapse by X2?

Quite the best 360 videos on YT but my head is beginning to ache! I think I have to start right at the beginning and try and learn it all from scratch. My laptop is fine for Excel etc but doubt for this and I use Linux anyway. I was planning to buy a powerful Chromebook. Do you know if the programmes you have used here would work on a Chromebook or do I need a dedicated Windows computer?

You definitely need a dedicated Windows computer. A Chrome book is nowhere near powerful enough. You need at least an i7 processor, 16gb ram, and 4gb dedicated graphics at minimum 👍

No filter is required. Settings are down to trial and error to be honest! Try and do some test time lapses of the moon. See which settings work best, and then use those settings for the eclipse 👍

hi again, I struggle to avoid getting the power socket cover into shot when doing timelapses - it shows as a fuzzy black square . Is the only way to avoid this, to remove the cover altogether ? (they aren't easy to put back on, if doing that, I have found!!)

For some reason the GoPro reframe apps cause problem to premiere pro, cannot start after installing. After the adobe help desk help to remove it it work again., Tried installing and it didn't work again.

hi best360, is there a way to accomplish this in photoshop cc rather than premier pro? all i have is adobe's photographers bundle - LR & PS. if there is a way to use the 3D function in photoshop to achieve the same thing a link or tutorial would be appreciated... thanks for your very concise tutorials...

Mm i think you will need premiere pro to put the photos together into a video. Not sure of another way at the moment.

@@Best360 Thanks Best! to be clear the jpegs i can create (and have) can not than be turned into a video with insta360 studio? if that is the case then at least this avenue for a 360 time lapse video is undoable with just LR and PS

@@The_Worried_Shrimp Yes that's correct. Try the Video Timelapse Mode instead of Photo Interval Mode. It will give you an instant Timelapse video. Although Video Timelapse Mode does not work at night/long exposure.

But the earth is flat!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Once again a fantastic tutorial. When doing water, I prefer slower shutter speeds so that the waves aren’t as sharply flowing, but to be able to pan so much would win over the sharp waters.

Some people prefer raw for the extra control in post production. You don’t have to do it this way

Normally your videos are superior... in this case I have NO idea what settings you are using as they simply do not come up on my X2. All I am looking to do is roll time lapse on sunset. I have NO idea how to access half the settings you very clearly chowed in this video. Is it possible there is something wrong with my camera? I have only a choice between still, video and time lapse.
