Great practical information. A key problem, though, in comparing the X3 to the Action 3 is the fragility and vulnerability of the convex X3 lenses to damage. Because of this, the X3 can't really be categorized as an "action camera".

Love the comparison video Collin !!! Well I just gone though my insta 360 app version and it’s showing 1.45.0 but still didn’t got any 4K export option…

Thank you for the comment glad you enjoyed it. What phone are you currently using? Because you do need a phone that’s quite new and it has a high processing power to get the 4K export.

I think it might be your phone. You have to have a fairly new phone and I think the iPhone 11 just may not have that power to do it at 4K unfortunately

The Insta 360 studio on your PC or laptop would definitely be the best option to export in 4K for you

I will always go for the Insta360 X3. It jsut works out of the box with no funky AI and from the initial clip, the DJI AI may be a little drunk. That looked like the grass was made of worms. Haha

With the X3, you're going to have close to 1440p resolution after cropping and you still have the opportunity to reframe a full 360° sphere with super stability.

Also, people look so stupid in videos that they have a hand out but nothing in it and a shadow on the ground, if you can’t get the right gear to do it correctly then just leave the stick in it, we all know it’s there.
