PS. In the Low Light test. X3 is NOT in HDR mode. Both ISO is 3200, and Shutter Speed is 1/120 - the camera is moving as it is on top of an RV (even tho X3 version looks like it is not - it is)

I love the music! Haha, great comparison. Gonna pass on the x3. I think it is not worth the upgrade from the X2 going to wait for a better one from another company or maybe the X4. Excellent low-light comparison. By the way, does it get a lot of Noise?

After X3 launch, I grab an RS1 from the used market! with additional accessories from the seller and 20% cheaper. X3 and RS1 is meant for different task. I base on the stitch line limitation to determine which camera to use. I have X2 thus adding RS1 to compliment each other.

The X3 seems to be an "in-between" model. It can do 8k but only in timelapses. Waiting for the X3S with 8k in regular 360° video!

Im curious if getting the 360 one is better than getting the pocket 3. I feel like the 360 offers more and can shoot like the 360. But at the expense likely with the quality of the video. Price is def a factor but the 360 is so good to have those capabilities and stoll be able to shoot wide

Gonna pick either to replace my X2 for indoor basketball matches (evening): unsure should I get RS 1inch to shoot 360 6K30p then insert frames with AI to 60fps, or get X3 to shoot single lens 3.6K60p? At the moment, X2 wasn't doing great that small sensors boosted ISO and got blurry images.

Well the other is a premium model with a larger sensor but the x3 is still very solid, especially for the price. I wonder what they’ll do with the x4. They listen to the reviews.

Compare the 72mp photo of the X3 to the 21mp photo of the One RS 1-inch 360 edition. You will be surprised of the result. The latter gives a better photo.

I have the 1" RS, I was worried as I use mine mounted to a 1" Kevlar carbon pole on my racing jetski in rough water and it is actually holding up just fine. Much better picture than my go pro max360

@dumbdesigns4941 My pole survived but hit a low bridge with the RS 1" and destroyed it, currently at the bottom of Lake erie, lol.. The X3 also sits at the bottom of the lake along with a rod holder and painters pole I tried to use as a mount... Ended up re buying another X3... My opinions are still the same, I miss the low light performance of the RS 1, and when I say low light, I mean pre sunset

@dumbdesigns4941 Take a look at the short I just uploaded. This was Nov 25th outside Cleveland, Ohio, on Lake Erie, before I edited the video to add more brightness. It wasn't really that dark out and the video is hard to see

I prefer mine: rs one 1 inch But I'd like to understand why they continue to support more and more the X3 and NOT the rs one inch : THEY HAVE NOT YET PRODUCED LENS PROTECTORS FOR THE RS !!!

I'm on the fence, as I would like to use them for street view. What are the 360 photos like, as the X3 seems to hype the 72MP compared to the 21MP of the One RS 1" 360.

Check Hugh's video comparison, the One RS 1" does better 360 photos even though it has only 6k resolution. Superior sensor beats fantasy numbers.

Its just a hype.. 72 mega pix is BS! I have a 12 megapix 15 year old dslr and these action cam cannot match that 12MP image quality

I have both, thinking HDR video on x3 in sunny conditions is better, but you can not beat 1 Inch low light, most impressive... Btw, new wind muffs for x3 are crap, dont waste your money, using external mic with diy built in deadcat on both 360's

Expected that 1 inch sensor with Leica lens is better. I have Leica lens on Huaweii P20(30,40) Pro. P50 pro do not have 5G network in Europe, yet. X2 and X3 are good becouse I have 4 batteries for them and for 1Inch they are stil projecting the backup battery So I start with 1Inch 360 and at the end of the battery I switch to X2. For X3 I wait 8 or 12k video so I can have better quality FOV. Probably this will come from 1 Inch new version The 12k (8k) version will have a V90 UHS-II card to memorize all this intell at video 60 fps/10 bits color - I wait for this version See my Tenerife movie for a combination of 3 super cameras (drone, handheld high res and Insta360) Enjoy!

I don’t think they will ever release a dive case for RS and that’s why I tested Amazon version but they all turn out bad :( Optic while they can’t figure out how to get it better with dive case

But it's useless in my opinion. You still need the diving case to get clear shots with the X3 because of diffraction of light in water.

X3 is better because it's cheaper and waterproof. For video quality in low light, simply use the manual settings for your ISO and shutter speed. That should do a decent job.
