It is a very generic video, the way to equip it on many occasions changes even being the same model. But I explain my experiences and what you can find when you want to re-equip a speed control to the car when there is that option in your model but your unit does not have it mounted as standard and you want to put it later.
Don't ask me about your specific model, search the forums of your brand or model, there are always open forums with all the information that you have to look for.
The website that I tell you about BMW in which I look for compatible parts for my model (if you put the chassis number is more concrete and reliable): www.realoem.com/bmw/en/select
What I used in the video:
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
- Speed control: I bought it in a junkyard
- Wera kit: amzn.to/2Md6ART
- Mannesmann 215 suitcase: amzn.to/2HgWQTJ
- Wurth gloves: amzn.to/2qev5TH
- Screwdrivers: amzn.to/2TfeTyj
- Fuse box: amzn.to/2WekIPD
I leave the thread of the forum that I followed to mount it: www.bmwfaq.org/resources/mont...
I do not give you the reference number of the pieces that I mounted to mine because they do not have to be compatible with your E90, better to look for those that are useful for yours. When you enter the web, you enter the chassis number, enter the section "Electrical part of the vehicle", "Switch" and you get the list of the parts that are compatible with your chassis number. The covers are generic, but in the junkyard you will surely find them like me for € 10.
