1:30 When hammering, you can see the black O-ring protruding between the shock absorber and the outer. This is a very poor assembly process.

At 1:30 and 1:34, should that 'O" ring be pushed out the bottom like that? It isn't universal and looks pinched. Maybe that would explain the small bubbles on the water test.

First 'O' ring put on was pushed out after hitting the outer part. not well fitted.

@The Scot,Perhaps that was why there were still bubbles coming out from the joint. Chinese "quality" control, meaning they actually looked at it, ignored the leak and probably shipped it out to America!

What car is this for? Discovery 3/4 does not have adjustable shocks.

noise might caused by some reasons, need to check it first and fit it.

Question can I put another type of bag on the oem strut or would I have to get other struts?

hi,generally all are OEM size and they are match, if just some problems for the air bag, you can use the old strut with new air spring

Very well spotted 👍 I was watching using my phone & didn’t see that missed placed O Ring so before dismissing your comment I watched video again +3 & Yes. You were 100% correct & that Air suspension unit is not going to last long. I’d say the two black O Rings are to stop contamination & the Green O Ring actually stops the Air from leaking ? If so the owner may be lucky but myself being an Engineer ! You are correct Not a good Repair 👍
