Great video. This can be accomplished without the registry edit. The service does not need to remain active. Note, the full OpenVPN installer was utilized for these results.

the ipv4 config in control panel limits my 1gbps to 300 mbps. also it isnt connecting although i have static ip and i port fowarded correctly in my router settings. disappointing

Found the problem After restarting the device, you must enter the Ethernet, close the sharing, then reactivate it and reconnect to the server, then the connection is completed. I don't know the exact solution to this problem

thank you for this video. everything is working fine. i have only one issue: after rebooting the server, i must re-apply the network sharing to have access to my internal network even if the sharing is already checked. I must uncheck it and then check it back. did you experienced this issue?

I did follow all the steps, but, The openVPN inthe phone says its connected. But, there is no internet access for me after it connects to openvpn, I also cant access the network files too

Not the simplest but useful tutorial, How can we reduce the file quantities? I mean when we share the client file to our cilent guis we need to upload so many files, iphone does not let us to get import other file extensions. Is there any way to put all info to single client.ovpn file? I even tried to put this zip files to my berylax mobile router but I keep getting an error as well saying "Certificate File Detected, Please Rebuild the Group."

My router has setup for openvpn but will not let me set ports less rhan 16000 , do inhsve to set openvpn on 1194 only? Or is it okqy if inopen port like 16500 and use that one across setup?

Great video thanks for your support but we are facing one issue, when we are going to connect vpn its connected but he is changing my server ip when the vpn is connected due to this other users not able to access my server please share the solution.

in my case, the vpn wouldn't connect because it couldn't access the certificates, i guess it works on mobile but it doesn't using the windows openvpn connect v3.. if you can figure it out i'd appreciate a lot

The client system doesn't need to have a static ip address. Only the server. It's just because you would have to change your config files every time your DHCP address changes. Hope it helps

+ note i have to completely disable "routing and remote access" and "openvpn service" services and it worked. it does not work if the "openvpn service" is running ....

Your entire LAN and anything exposed on it... But that's the whole point of a VPN. Make it as if you were on your LAN regardless of where you are in the world in a secure fashion.

I am an IT, dont trust this configuration. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 do not open those port in your personal PC. You can enable port triggering in your router.

@@QianyiLi-bi7jl no you cant for a non vpn to vpn client, most vpn are not capable in doing that. Vpn config, keys and so on are embedded in your device, whoever wanting to connect with your hotspot doesn’t have the protocol requirements for the vpn. They may not or may able to connect, but there will be no connection within the internet.
