Күн бұрынHello friends. In this video I show you how I installed and how how it works this new Android 10, 9 inch, dedicated for Peugeot 308 and 408 2007-2014.
This is the M400 model from Mekede, it has: 4G LTE data modem, Octa-core Intel SC9853 processor, 4Gb Ram and 64Gb memory for applications and operating system, bluetooth, GPS, compatible with steering wheel controls and computer screen. This system also works on other Peugeot & Citroen cars, only the frame is different.

Hello Adrian, i watched your video's from the 308's android units. They are great!! I am looking into buying one myself from Aliexpress, i have a 308 SW from 2011 with this "flip open" color screen. I read some reactions from people who are having problems with the SOS button errors. Is this stil the case with the new units? And will the parking sensors work? And what about all the other messages wich are shown on the "flip open" screen, oil warnings, doors open, automatic wiper messages and others etc.....? I was looking into buying a unit from the EU mainly because it is shipped from Poland or France so i don't have to worry about extra taxes (to NL) I am a bit worried all messages and sensors won't work like before. I am aware that the "flip open" screen won't work anymore, wich is OK for me as long all the other functions still appear on the new Android radio. Thnx in advance!!

Hello. The new Android versions do not solve the problem of the SOS button or the problem of not displaying info messages or error messages. But I think it's worth the change anyway.

I installed it in my Peugeot 308 sw. As for the SOS button, I don't know how the error manifests itself, and the moving display does not work. The cable is disconnected. The sensors are barely audible, and I have no image on the monitor. When I play with the camera, I don't need the sensors.

Thank you very much. Cool Video, one question, is navigation working without SIM card? I assume google maps will not work? But if i can download another app which has offline maps like „here we go“ it should work? I have a Peugeot 308cc from 2012 with sat-nav display. I wont use this display anymore but do you know if it is compatible with tje car system? Is S9 compatible or do i need to use the T7 link as i think my model is a T7?

Hello. Online GPS navigation applications (Maps, Waze, etc) only work with an Internet connection via SIM data or WiFI connection to an Internet Hotspot (you can generate from your phone). But there are also GPS navigation applications that work offline, as you said Here We Go, but even with these you have to download the map first using an internet connection. The Android unit is compatible with your Peugeot 308 T7 car.

Hi Peter. Probably the Canbus module is not set correctly in the menu. If your Android unit has the same menu as the one in the video, go to Menu / Factory (pass 3368) / Car Model -> Raisse - Peugeot / Citroen - 308. The PSA-RZ-15 will make the controls on the steering wheel work, but to be able to set the original screen you need the canbus decoder PSA-RZ-01 s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DmGg6Wz

Salutare! Foarte util. Practic pot instala cu ajutorul acestui tutorial, singur, navigația. O singură întrebare am, dacă îmi puteți răspunde, dacă dau hotspot de pe telefon (Vodafone net nelimitat) pot lega aplicația la telefon, cum pot lega alte dispozitive? Salut. Odata ce ai activat hotspot-ul pe telefon te poti conecta la el cu unitatea Android prin WiFi si vei folosi netul de pe telefon.

No no. I also installed it two days ago. The display does not work. It has a separate power cord, and I don't know if there is an option to connect them. Mostly, the rear parking sensors are barely audible to me and there is no image on the multimedia.

I have a Peugeot 308 without an amplifier. The cables arriving from the speakers in the central dashboard do not have any RCA connectors. How to connect speakers to car stereo without RCA connectors?

I can say that the sound is the same as on the original radio unit, but here you have an advantage because you can adjust how you want the sound with the equalizer. I have not tested with brand radio units.

My car has the USB ports inside the center armrest. Where is the other end of the connection for the USB cable? I mean where is the original wire harness to connect to the Android player?

Hello. The car's original bluetooth module is somewhere under the armrest and it is not very possible to connect that socket to the Android unit. I think it's possible, but you have to make some adapter cables, and I don't know how they should be made.

Hello. 1. In the package with android device you receive a basic Canbus Decoder + all the necessary cables. If you want to display data about the air conditioning system on the Android screen, you will need an XP canbus (Simple Soft), but keep in mind that it has some bugs: for example, it resets the service interval for the oil change.

Hi Adrian., the radio is placed in the car the sensors are still working👍. I have just 2 problems. Sometimes the radio will connect wireless with my wife’s iPhone for Apple car play and sometimes he won’t connect need to restart the car 2 times. Next problem is the FM radio is not so good we receive 2 radio signals that’s not normal. Any idea? Thx

Salutare! Nu stiu sa-ti raspund esxact la intrebarea ta dar am auzit ca exista niste adaptoare pentru a functiona cel putin comenzile de la volan, ar trebui sa cauti pe google poate gasesti ceva. I bought a similar one and seller sent me a R15 conversion cable canbus. for my RCZ. Everything works, but when start going with car, with some speed radio shut's off for 1/10 secont and comes alive again right after. With car on idle works fine. But idle if I Shake wires and Plugs ... it works fine. Only if the car have some speed. Not always doing ... and not on bumps :(

Hello. Both work just as well if you buy the best model: octa core and 2 or 4 Gb ram memory. It's your choice. What year is your car from?

Adica e o cartela care are si numar de pe care pot apela la nevoie si apeluri de voce (ma rog, de pe numarul ala oarecare), sau exista sim doar de internet, fara numar de apelare vocala? Salut Liviu! Slotul de sim al acestei unitati este exclusiv destinat numai datelor mobile de internet. Poti folosi un sim capabil de date si voce dar unitatea stie sa-l folosească numai pe date, nu si pe voce.

Hi Adrian, really clear tutorial! I bought a different Android unit but I can't figure out how to make it goes of and on with the ignition of the car. The unit is alway on basically and I'm thinking to change it to this android unit that you show in the video. Is this unit functioning with ignition of the car or you had to play with the fuse box to make it work with ignition?

As dori sa achizitionez si eu M400 si am vazut ca am posibilitatea de a comanda atat din China, Anglia cat si Germania, diferenta fiind data de pretul transportului, dar si de durata acestuia. Ai putea sa imi spui din ce tara ai comandat modelul tau? M-ai putea sfatui din ce tara sa-l comand?

Salut. Eu am comandat din Anglia, a venit cam in 3 saptamani deoarece nu era in stocul depozitului de acolo. In felul acesta am scutit taxele vamale ce trebuiau achitate in situatia in care comandam din China.

Hello Adrian, your video is the best ever in YTD. I need your help. I just complete installation OEM 9' PE33-2GB in peugeot 207 5d first plate 2011 (model 2007) 1,4D. @@AdrianDragan thanks for your quick response. I m not so sure. I tried all the possible ways at canbox i find only one option for Peugeot 207 and selected. Not working properly. Only radio listening, mobile connection, gps and all apps except car controls and trip computer.

This canbus will only work with steering wheel controls. Did you connect the two-wire plug to the back of the Android unit? That cables come from the canbus decoder. Also try the Peugeot 307 or 308.

Good Morning. The steering wheel control of my Peugeot 308 SW I car constantly stops working on the Radio Android Meked M400. To solve I have to restart the radio, it works for a while but then stops working again. Any reason for this to happen? Can you help me? Thanks. Best regards, Hugo Ribeiro.

Hello. Try to be connected to the Internet with the Mekede Android tablet when you do the canbus settings, I think it may have to download some online settings.

Good morning everyone. Does anybody know how to change the car back from km to miles? I have the m500 and had no issues fitting after following the video on here. Felicitări și mulțumim foarte mult pentru acest videotutorial foarte complet! ❤ Caut cea mai potrivită navigatie Android pentru un Peugeot RCZ, și idealmente echipat cu un model de camera marșarier încorporat în plăcuță de înmatriculare (voi incerca sa gasesc un model cu un receptor-recevier wireless). Ati putea să-mi sfătuiți un model anume, vă rog? Board-ul fiind negru, ar trebui partea superioară să fie de asemenea neagră lucios și cu butoanele din modelul RCZ binețeles (THP 200, modelul fără scaune din piele si optiunea aferenta). @Adrian_Dragan Hello, I bought the M700S and supplied I found the adapter to use the original USB port as standard that is located in the 308. Behind the standard stereo I did not find any USB cable. A USB connector (where I put the pen drives) that I have in the 308 is located in the front armrest. Can you tell me where I can find the other connector of the cable I have to connect the adapter for the USB as standard. Thank you

Hello. I think you have an mp3 module somewhere, maybe under the armrest, but I'm not sure. Theoretically, you should have a plug behind the original radio, a gray plug.

Salut, am comandat si eu acum cateva saptamani o navigatie de pe ali express, de altfel una la care i-ai si facut review, pentru un 407 si voiam sa te intreb in cat timp ti-au venit tie coletele, pentru ca nu am dat niciodata o suma atat de mare pe ali express si nu as vrea sa am surprize neplacute de genul nelivrarea comenzii de niciun fel, sau sa aibe defecte si asa mai departe. Imi place ce faci, apropo, si ma bucur ca am gasit pe cineva care pune sisteme android si pe masini frantuzesti nu numai pe gama WAG. Astept raspunsul tau.

Salutare! Nu cred ca este cazul sa te ingrijorezi, navigatia va ajunge la tine dar cu oarece intarzieri datorita situatiei cu acest nenorocit de virus... Oricum tu ai protectie din partea Aliexpress si in cazul in care coletul nu ajunge la tine pana la expirarea termenului vei primi banii integral inapoi. Multumesc pentru aprecieri :)

Hi Adrian, thanks to you excellent video. I by and install mekede m600 version widhout any probelms. But sound instructions from maps is at low level compared to radio. If a listen radio at normal level instructions is hart to listen. Do you know how to equal sound levels on radio and maps ?

Hi, I used this video to install an android screen a couple of years ago and it worked great. I installed a new one recently with better specs, the one in the link above. It still works very well but it has changed the car's units to kph rather than mph. When this happened with the first android screen, I reconnected the original radio, changed it back to mph, and then reconnected the android screen. This did not work with the new screen, it keeps changing to kph. Changing the units settings on the android screen didn't work either. I have the Peugeot 308 with colour flip screen which doesn't work with the android screen installed. Any ideas how I can solve this?

Hello. I think if you use the canbus decoder from the old unit on the new unit, everything will work fine.

Hello, The steering wheel controls work, you can also control the screen on the dashboard (monochrome). As for the parking sensors, I couldn't test them because my car doesn't have one, but theoretically this Android Multimedia unit is compatible with the factory parking sensors.

Go to Settings / Car settings / extra settings, here look for the canbus settings menu. You may be asked for your password, try these: 126 123456 8888 You must have an internet connection when making these settings.

Hello. I don't think the settings for the Canbus are done correctly in your Android unit. Go to the Factory Settings / CanBus menu and select your car there.

Salutare. Se potriveste pe RCZ dar daca ai sistem audio JBL din fabrica nu va merge. De asemenea daca ai sistemul multimedia original cu ecran color (cu navigatie) ecranul color original al masinii nu va mai sfunctiona daca instalezi unitatea Android, desi aceasta va functiona bine.

Hello Adrian, you mentioned that after installing this radio, the top screen (flip screen) will no longer work. Do you know if there are any Android Models that allow the flip screen to work together with the radio? Maybe it depends on canbus decoder model?

If the top flip screen is controlled via factory radio, I think it should be somehow possible to get it control via custom radio (tablet). Maybe the code is different? 🤔 I wonder if the factory flip screen has some canbus decoder integrated which translates analog signal to digital or if it is implemented in some other way (direct digital transmission)?

Hello. The foldable screen has a dedicated plug that goes into the original radio. Unfortunately, there is no Android model compatible with the original folding screen.

Hi, I bought an android radio for my Peugeot 308 with raize canbus decoder, and the steering wheel buttons work fine, however, I can’t access the onboard computer. The screen shows the buttons for the onboard computer but they don’t work. Is it because I didn’t choose the correct protocol? Is there a way of knowing what protocol to choose or do I have to try with each one of the options?

Hello. You can try all Peugeot models in Raise protocol, most likely if you choose Peugeot 307 it will work.

Salutare Robert! De curând am montat o navigatie Android pe un 508 cu JBL din fabrica și sistemul audio JBL a rămas funcțional după ce am făcut setarile corecte pentru decodorul Canbus. As spune ca ar trebui sa mearga și la RCZ. Hello! The sound is very good and thanks to the DSP (digital sound processor) system you have multiple possibilities to adjust the sound. The sound is louder than on the original radio. Here I am talking about the M400 model.

Hello! I was very pleased with the 7-inch navigation from Idoing, but now I consider this one from Mekede to be an great upgrade and I really like how it works and how it looks. I don't mind the frame which is higher than the dashboard, when you are behind the wheel it is not noticeable. All my friends said that the new Android navigation is cool :)

Salutare. Acel economy mode nu este dezactivat doar ca unitatea Android nu este influențată de activarea Economy Mode și ea va functiona chiar dacă acel mod se activeaza, condiția este sa ai contactul pus.

You have to enter Factory Settings and there you will probably have the option to deactivate, but I don't know if it's the same as my M400 / M200. Ask the seller how to do this.

After installing the M600, How can you take the radio out again ? The clips behind the radio, There was No manual in the package send, could you plz make a video on how you take it out.

Hi Sebastian! I did exactly the same thing: I used the GPS antenna and the microphone from the old 7 inch unit, everything works perfectly. So they are compatible. Thanks for your appreciation!

Thank you for the video Adrian, I want to install the same unit in my 308. I have a JBL sound system in the car, do you know if I will have any problem with the wheel controls?

Hi! As far as I know this Android unit is not compatible with JBL audio system.

Hello. Works with any android phone with bluetooth. I don't know about the iPhone because I haven't tested it, but I think it should work without problems.
