Install Android 13 on Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge

Жыл бұрынAndroid 13 is finally out in its fully stable form for our Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. With LineageOS 20.0 custom ROM, you can experience the latest Android 13 right now on our beloved S7 and S7 Edge. It also comes with the latest October security patch and OTA updater.
Installation Steps -
1. Boot into TWRP recovery. (Needs latest TWRP recovery for Android 13)
2. Choose Install - Install image - Flash the latest TWRP recovery. (If not already installed)
3. Boot back into TWRP recovery. (Only if coming from older TWRP version)
4. Go to Wipe - Advanced Wipe - Choose system, data, cache, dalvik cache and vendor - Swipe to Wipe.
5. Now go to Install - Choose LineageOS latest zip and latest NikGapps zip.
6. Reboot into system and enjoy.
7. Reboot back into TWRP and install latest Magisk for root access. (Optional if need Magisk and root access)

Thanks, your video helped me. My S7 were draining battery so bad, now after the android 13 update, my phone can easily lasts 1 day without charge. Camera quality improved as well!!

Hi I am visually impaired and I'm just wondering if Android 13 still allows you to install the navigation bar. I find this very useful as it will allow me to dock the accessibility icon at the bottom right of the screen.

DON'T TRY. US versions have locked bootloaders. Trying this will brick your phone.

@@QuazwersxceX thank you for your answer. I'm currently running pixel experience but it's draining my battery heavily and gets incredibly hot when I'm running certain apps. The system ui/process crashes and freezes.

Yeah battery drainage is a bit higher than A13. I don't use S7 a lot only sometimes when I'm reviewing ROMs or need it for songs. About heating I don't have an idea if it's normal because of my usage is very low 😅. You can post on xda if you're facing excessive heat with your usage details so other users can also compare and give you a more precise review 😁

@@novabellli don't agree with that lol i just got my s7 for 70 euros and its the best phone i had, i can even play the most demanding games, such a good phone, the only bad thing its the burnt display, you notice it on white images, i think this phone will last some good years, even more with the android 13 update, also this phone with vrgear makes it a "great" vr headset. I say it is the perfect budget phone, under 100 euros, and you got a nice handset ;)

they may not even start since the secure module needs to be deactivated to install custom roms AFAIK
