hi Adrian Thanks for sharing the video. I bought the same product. The steering wheel buttons worked but I couldn't get into the car settings and set the menu. Transactions starting with your video in 19.13 seconds

Hi i have seen the screen and it looks amazing i have a peugeot 307cc 06 plate and my radio has options to turn on automatic headlights and well as reverse sensor and several other options will this be available on the screen as well as the steering controls. 1 more final question what does the display on top now show and does it still work as i dont mind paying the price for one as long as everything comes with it please reply asap

@@edgardlopez4909 en Aliexpress pones multimedia Peugeot 307 y te va a salir .tenés de varios precios yo la pagué 174 dolares más 24 de el envío .esa es de 1 giga RAM y 16 de memoria .también hay de 2 de RAM y 32 de memoria

In locul aeratoarelor din consola, ar merge 3 ceasuri analogice pentru masurarea diferitilor parametri ai motorului, astfel ar fi complet bordul din punct de vedere al functionalitatii, cat si al designului(se vede urat imbinarea dintre unitate si aeratoare). In rest, good job! P.S. daca vopsesti consola si aeratoarele laterale in culoarea piano black, se va vedea mai frumos, gen Pejo RCZ...

Hello. Dedicated navigation for a car model also includes the Canbus module. About the necessary tools some sellers include plastic wedges, but you will have to buy a Torx T20 wrench.

Hello Adrian, Great tutorial!! I tried to mount such a radio but even I had all wires ok - it didnt want to work. Dark screen - as no power coming to radio. Should I mount CAN BUS between the Peugeot wire cube and the radio cube to make it working?

Hello. If your car has been manufactured since 2005, you need to connect Canbus to the cable.

Hi, AM radio works very well, DAB radio I haven't experienced but I know you have to buy a separate adapter.

When installing that kind of unit, does the top screen (with your traveling info, gas consuption, etc...) still work fine ? I'd love to do that kindd of improvement, but this little screen is so helpful, I wouldn't want it to stop working...

@@AdrianDragan Salut este un Peugeot 307 din 2006. Am reușit să recunoască canbus (!?) Cu configurația de Peugeot 308 . Merge controlul de la volan, recunoaște temperatura.....și cam atât. Am văzut vre.o 20 de video și am rezolvat treabă. Oricum mersi mult, video al tău mi.a fost de mare ajutor.

Hi! How did they solve the problem? I have a Citroen C3 (2008) and a canbus Raise device. Steering wheel controls are ok, display open doors too, but I can't get into the car settings because the buttons are not working, as shown in the video. Thanks in advance

5:45 those black dots interfere with the signal....best place is behind the rearview mirror...that is also where there is no sunprotection layer...specially for these kind of things.

After installing the multimedia car unit (MCU) I lost the ability to control the multifunctional display on the dashboard. It took me quite a while until I managed to figure it out. My MCU has a CAN BUS decoder, and I set it in settings to RCZ->Peugeot/Citroen->408->RCZ.2014. Then I disconnected and reconnected the car battery because apparenty the decoder needs to be restarted. Afterwards the MCU buttons controlling the multifunctional display were working again. The display even shows the current radio frequency when changing radio stations. Also, only the Peugeot 408 model option worked for me, nothing else. I have a 2006 Peugeot 307 HDI.

Congratulations !!! I bought this Multimedia but the FM radio volume setting is very high at the very least, this only happens on the Radio, in the songs and video clips on the pendrive the volume control is normal, do you know if there's anything I can do?

Hello. I think in the Factory Settings menu there are some settings for the sound volume for each source. This menu differs from unit to unit.

Hello! I have a question about is there anything I should do to control the volume and change the tracks with the steering wheel controls? I have the same multimedia, but I can't control them from the steering wheel. Everything is connected exatly the way it should be. My car year is 2003, did I need a Canbus Box? Thank You!

Awesome tutorial, I installed mine today. Is it possible to have radio station name instead of frequency? I have 2007 model with canbus. I have worse signal with this than with original radio. I cant tune station I could on old one..

Hi, For bad FM radio signal, check if you have connected the blue wire (antenna) to another blue wire (ant) coming from the Android unit. Your radio unit probably does not have RDS to display the names of the radio stations.

Hello! If the car is manufactured until 2005, the steering wheel controls will not work. Only cars with a year of manufacture since 2005 operate the steering wheel controls.

Can you share what CAN BUS settings you used for the device? My unit has RAISE CAN BUS adapter. I cannot find suitable settings for it in factory settings menu. The best I got was generic PSA (Rzc). With this one I can use my steering wheel controls, however I cannot access the onboard computer menu and set up time. Does perhaps other CAN BUS settings work for it?

Hello. Now I don't have that unit on the car. I remember that at that first model I didn't even manage to make the settings for the screen on the dashboard. However, try RZC Peugeot 308, 408 or 307 settings.

Hello. I don't think the settings for Canbus are done correctly. Enter Settings / Factory Settings / Canbus and there check the settings for all Peugeot models you find in the list.

crashes where and slow speeds i had where caused by usb stick having faults somehow it got fix and now can play withing seconds, however i still cannot control onbaord computer or got error messages, the software that came with my one is with ugly brown collors and does not seem to have the same things, i have big screen in front instead of small one and that will not turn on anymore, any helpfultips would greatly be appreciated

I'm sorry to hear that. Try to talk to the seller, if you bought from Aliexpress, open the dispute, send videos with the problem and even ask for full refound. I hope you solve the problem. About the big screen, here is an incompatibility between the Android drive and that screen, so it will not work.

How to restart the media? Rear view cam stopped working after 6 days. It turns on, lights up, but wont visualize on media, black screen

On the top left touch screen panel you will find a small hole next to which reads RST. Insert a small needle into that hole and press the switch on it, the unit will restart. However, I don't think the problem is with the Android unit, I think it's from the video signal cable or even the faulty camera.

Do you know if its drains car battery on Sleep mode? Have you tried nova Launcher on it?

I install this yesterday in my girlfriend's car, a 307 cc 2004 so first gen(?). The problem is that the Multimedia unit or screen turns on every time you open the doors of the car. You don't even have to put in or turn the key. The screen turns of after a while, but I want it only to work when you turn the key and make sure it is not draining the battery.

Did you find a solution to this? Just installed the same exact model in my 307 (2003) and it is always on. Can’t even force it to shutdown, only some idle/sleep mode, where it shows the clock - and after a few minutes, the screen turns off, but I’m pretty sure it’s still on, as it never shows the Android boot-logo or Peugeot logo, but just turns straight on. My old standard stock-radio did turn off, when the car was off, and could only turn on, when ignition is on, so can’t be a fuse-problem. Maybe bad wiring from the vendor?

@@piffinger6485 I eventually found out, that it wasn't always on. It got triggered, when I activated/deactivated the central locking. If I park my car, close the doors and activate the central lock, the radio might continue to play for 30 seconds or so, but will eventually shutdown in the end. I've kept my unit mounted for more than a year now, no drained battery, so the conclusion must be, that it turns off, or at least goes to a stand-by mode, that uses next to no power.

I was able to swith a certain cable in the back so, as in your case, the radio will "go off" ca. 2 mins after turning the ignition off BUT when I get back to the car and open it it immediately continues where it was before. But as you say, that's got to be the standby mode and it's good to hear you've had no battery problems.

I have a strange problem . So my car is 307 - 2007year . Everything was smooth during installation, when i started the car everything worked fine . My wheel controls work fine . However day after the installation, my original Multi-function Display ( the one that is close to the window) started to go crazy , it started to blink and turn on and off rapidly (its like going dark mode on and off ) , it started to show different info, and is doing very often DIAGNOSIS. Does anyone have an idea what is going on ? Cheers

Salutare! Ce unitate Android ai si din ce an este masina ta? Unitatea ta are decodor canbus? Acea cutiuta neagra mica in spatele unitatii Android. Daca are decodor canbus probabil trebuie setat corect in meniul Car sau Factory settings.

Stock speakers, or aftermarket? :-) You need a CANbus adapter to allow adjustment of the multifunction display.

Hello. With the original speakers. To have control on the original screen you need the Raise PSA-RZ-01 canbus decoder. If you buy the dedicated Android unit for your car, you should also receive the canbus decoder in the package.

The signal that it is in reverse is transmitted to the Android unit by CanBus.
