With LineageOS 20.0 custom ROM, you can experience the latest Android 13 right now on your OnePlus 6 & 6T. It also supports OTA updates.

Installation Steps -
1. Boot your device into bootloader mode.
2. Boot twrp using command prompt from PC.
3. After booting into twrp, flash twrp installer zip. After that reboot into recovery mode again.
4. Go to Advanced, ADB Sideload and install LineageOS and GApps using adb sideload commands.
5. Reboot and enjoy!

1) always advise people to fully charge their phone before flashing any OS onto it 2) always advise people they may well brick their devices if they attempt this process 3) always leave a link to a fix if they do manage to brick them 4) always be prepared to FULLY flash your device if attempting to show people how to flash theirs the whole point of the video is to help other people not yourself 5) don't take my comments personally they are merely here to help you become a better creator 6) no OEM unlock....?

Can someone please help me understand why OnePlus is able to not only offer upgrade packages but downgrade packages which seem to wipe the phone similar to unlocking the bootloader?? I'm asking this because why can't custom ROM makers allow local storage update similar to downgrading using an official ROM? I'm assuming it's because the upgrade and downgrade packages have digital signatures included while the custom roms don't... they probably do it so you can't easily put a malicious ROM on your phone but it's a royal pain in the neck doing it through a computer... Last time I tried putting custom software on a OnePlus 8 pro the computer just wouldn't do what it was supposed to do even though I followed the instructions step by step. No matter what I did that bootloader just would not unlock and it pissed me off as it would piss anyone off and caused me to start thinking about alternative solutions to the problem...

I was unable to wipe data, same error and looking online I cannot get any advice on how to fix that. Are you sure you just kept installing the twrp installer over and over again? because it didn't work for me.

It works if you root with magisk and use kdragon safetynet fix and shamiko. I have OP6 with official LOS 20 that passes safetynet.

most confusing instructions ever! the person in the video assumes people know all the steps with flashing and skips past many steps and then comes back to the skipped steps to make the process even more complicated than it already is. please have a step by step structure so YOU are clear as to what you're trying to explain, so that others can follow along without any error or brick devices or bootloops.
