Install Oculus Quest Beat Saber custom songs with any web browser and BMBF

This video is just a short tutorial on how to install beat saber custom songs Oculus Quest to BMBF using a web browser (Windows, MAC, Linux, even a cell phone), wirelessly and in only a few minutes. Once you have it set up, you can start installing Beat Saber custom songs to you Oculus Quest in seconds. Super easy and convenient.
NOTE, YOU HAVE TO HAVE BMBF INSTALLED ALREADY FOR THIS TO WORK.

Noa Verellen hey it’s cool I know why... it’s because we’re on version 1.6.3 and the mods are updated to 1.6.2 so if you just give it a few days maybe a week tops they’ll definitely be a lot more out their working for us :) (some will still not work as it’s up to the user of mods or uploadeder of them to update the mods )

I just started modding my Beat Saber, and I love this, because I have some lag when trying to do it in the headset. Way to do it outside the headset is nice.

Hey ty! Great video but I need help with something. I’m trying to install hardwired (drums) through bmbf on the quest but it keeps failing and saying that the format isn’t valid. What do I do to fix this? All the other songs download fine. Many thanks.

Whats your opinion on the oculus quest connected to the pc with link? I understand that the rift s is better visually but is the difference night and day? I'm interested in the quest because I will play mostly beat saber but I want to try some pc titles aswell.

Ty, Great video. Question. I have been reluctant to perform the update to the latest version of BeatSaber. Everytime I run it in my Oculs Quest, it says there is an upgrade available. Will the new update break BMBF? B/C right now I have it working like a charm?

Just a reminder to anyone that plays with custom songs....do not update your beat saber game when you start your game if theres a update. It will lock up your game. Theres a process to updating a modded beat saber game. Look it up first.

It doesn't lock up the game, at all. But it won't update anyway All it does is flash up the standard 'you can continue to use the Quest' or w/e message but doesn't then update You gotta uninstall the game using SideSync, re-download it from thye store, then redo the BMBF process to update (of which it's safe to do as of now/1.6.3)

I actually have to open BMBF before itll let me access it from the website on a browser. Pretty annoying. Wish I could just turn on the Quest and have BMBF be available immediately.

OK, download this: 1drv.ms/u/s!Akn9zJfwXryUheNpo9dypD77yVbWqw?e=Ydcb2F It's just a simple batch file that will launch bmbf in the headset. To use it, open sidequest, click device settings and tool, click open adb folder and then copy the batch file there. Then right click it and select send to desktop (create shortcut). Then you can just plug in the quest real quick to your pc, double click the shortcut you made and it will open bmbf in the headset. I use it and it's actually way faster than having to click around in the headset.

Some songs that use mapping extensions won't work. There is a mod to fix this but it's broken since the last beat Saber uodate... :-(

Do you know why when I play a custom song it doesn’t show the Highscores for the song? It is so strange! It just says connection lost even though my wifi is in full swing. Btw thanks so much for everything! The only reason why I can play custom songs is because of your other tutorial!

Custom songs don't track world scores, just yours locally. But, scoresaber was once working and I suspect it will again soon.

everytime I download a song through BMBF and sync it to my quest, when I open beatsaber it just crashes and says beat saber has stopped working and asks me to reload it up again. It will always do this nomatter how many times i reload it up. I cant seem to figure out why this is only happening to me and nobody else...

i hate this not the video but i think finnaly this might be a simple tututorial i cant follow to get custom songs but for this to work i have to look up how to install bmbf and for the bmbf tutorial to work i have to look up how to download sidequest specifically for chromebook because it makes everythin harder and then after watching all of these the final step of the sidequest tutorial its outdated or something
